Got it in April. In bed for 60 hours. Recovered my strength very quickly. Breathing slightly laboured for several days due to excess phlegm production.
Feel great now. The breathing difficulty was my altitude training.
Got it a few weeks ago (so presumably the omicron variant). Coincidentally, tested positive in the same 24 hours that I got my second booster.
Symptoms (some coughing, ~4° fever) were gone in 48 hours, or maybe a little less.
Sorry, I can't run so I can't speak to that, but after those 48 hours I noticed no physical effects.
3 weeks max
Sorry, should add that in addition to being vaxed and boosted (the second booster wouldn't have had time to have had an effect), I was able to get paxlovid prescribed by my doctor within hours of getting my positive test result. Probably helped.
Either never got it or got it with no symptoms.
Unvaxxed
Fully vacced and boosted. Very mild symptoms (fatigue, runny nose, very mild cough lasting about three days).
I started running a few days after symptoms ended. No issues whatsoever on easy runs, but I experienced a feeling of significant "chest tightness" and trouble breathing during workouts. I've never experienced chest tightness like that before, and it severely limited my workouts for about four weeks. I didn't experience any other issues, and probably never would've noticed the chest issues if I didn't run.
After about a month I was back to fairly normal. I'm still regaining lost fitness.
A couple of days for my wife. She got it in the fall. She doesn't run much in the winter, but was able to run a couple PRs in the spring, so didn't seem like there were any long lasting impacts.
Felt horrible for 3 weeks. Recovered by 5 weeks.
