Trump had told people not to vote by mail. Dems had voted by mail in large numbers, and those votes were not being counted until after the polls closed. The mail-in votes were about 3 to 1 Biden to Trump. I'm sorry your calculator was not working, but it was clear to most.
Yep, Democrats and the media rationalized rioting as acceptable when it was their guys doing it ("riots are the language of the unheard" "mostly peaceful protests"), and the GOP voters followed right along with it. A dumb event, but at least 40 weren't killed like during the mostly peaceful protests...
- Trump behaved sh1tty and knew what he was doing. - Most of his core supporters know he lost and what he was doing to try to hold on to power, but all that really doesn’t matter to them coz he speaks to their ears.
- The capital riots were a spectacular shame for the nation in the world’s eyes but it was most certainly not an “insurrection”, a word that’s laughably sensationalized to describe some combination of naive, hurting, and some downright lunatic protestors who got conned into breaking into the capital by their president.
An insurrection is an armed attack against the state, not an attack - even if you insist on calling it that - organized by the state (or the sitting head thereof). Insurrectionists don’t just monkey around after breaking in and then leave by themselves because they don’t know what else to do.
The AP decided that “insurrection” is what all of the mainstream media would go with and that was that.
PS: The above views have plenty to piss off both sides, so pile on as you please!

Wrong the dictionary defines and insurrection as “a violent uprising against authority or the government”
Jan 6th fits the definition perfectly. It was a sh!t uprising and gave up very easily but it was violent.
Jan 6 wasn't "dramatic"? Trump cultists still adhere to the Big Lie, they refuse to accept Jan 6 was an insurrection, and Republican-controlled state legislatures are doing everything they can to try to disenfranchise Democrat voters and ensure compliant electoral officials. After that does its job, all they will need is a home-grown Putin to take the Presidency and see off what remains of your democratic institutions.
No, it wasn't you dipsh*t! You've gotta be one old liberal turd in your foreign f'ed country. The months of cities being burned down and looted, if done by Conservatives, would be a subject you'd be getting on day after day after day. I love when you post as you are as ignorant as they come old man. Keep'em coming peabrain.
I see you don't follow events in your own country.
My comment that "Jan 6 is still happening" is referring to the continuation of anti-democratic means to achieve anti-democratic objectives - which is what Jan 6 was all about. The accompanying violence will likely come again.
Your other comment, about Justice Kavanaugh - which isn't really related to Jan 6 - is yet another demonstration of the violence that is such a prevalent and long-standing theme in American culture.
What anti-democratic means are still happening? The only anti-Democratic tactics I’m seeing is from the pro-abortion crowd who have gone as far as attempted murder of a Supreme Court justice, spurred by violent rhetoric of democratic politicians. A staffer leaking an upcoming Supreme Court decision and the subsequent encouraging of protests and “taking up arms” by democratic leaders is a direct threat to our democratic process as well.
All of this is an attempt to turn the tides before midterms. Problem is no one really cares about January 6th as long as they’re paying $5 per gallon of gas, $5 for a gallon of milk, $4 for a dozen eggs and can’t find an affordable home to rent, much less buy. With an inevitable red wave on the horizon, what do the Dems do? They resort to political theatrics. Get people to leak Supreme Court documents, air a January 6th hearing on all major networks, go on tirades about the second amendment.
The only problem is Democratic strategists can’t remember one simple quote: “It’s the economy, stupid.” No one cares about the peripheral stuff when their bank account is hurting. Say what you want, but dems are in control of the White House, senate, and congress. Your in power, you get the blame.
US doesn’t even rank in the top 10 for violent crime.
It's in the top 10 for insurrections. Your first in 200 years.

Trump was still president on Jan 6th. You can't have an insurrection against someone who wasn't even president yet.

As I alluded already, Trump was the highest executive authority and part of the government, so I suggest following the advice on your handle yourself.
The rednecks have it right that it was about as violent as BLM protests, but hardly violent enough to count as rebellion against government. Nobody in law enforcement died because of the violence, but rather because of heart attacks and such.
We saw a guy who simply refused to accept the fact he lost the electon totally freaking out. he said before the election .....if I lose it was rigged.......so it was going to be rigged. There is no doubts at all Trump wanted to see exactly what we saw he is without question responsible for that mess.
Dude actually talked about Pence not signing off on this, did he really think that was going to happen, he was that far gone?
BUT........back then I wanted him out of there, but with the mess that Biden is I do wish we had him now. What is really sad is Ukraine, if Trump was here there is no invasion.
Your third paragraph is interesting to me. You for real?
I'm not judging one way or another, it just stood out to me.

Very real, no way Putin messes with Ukraine if Trump was still in office.
