The chances are you've got another 50 years of living, one day at a time. That's 50 years of choices you can make, every day. Life isn't simply what happens to you, it's what you choose to do with it. You have that - and likely will for some time yet.
BUT you still can do stuff. Go hiking, explore the US and or other countries, find a interest that you can read about. There is really a lot out there you just have to pick a few things and go for it.

Unpopular opinion: go on a psychedelic journey of some kind. Not saying keep taking them or become some kind of alternative lifestyle hippie. But just do it once. On the second half of your trip it, for me anyway, it works as a compass to point you towards what you are deprived of in your life that gives you vitality. I have shrooms once every 2 years or so and it's helped me reconnect with the important things I've been putting on the back burner. After that one trip I won't have another dose.
Fossil Fuels make up a small fraction of the worlds oil supply. Most oil is abiotic in origin and fossil fuel panic was largely created as anti-soviet propaganda. This is 100% a myth, more fictitious than a Thomas Pynchon novel.

- Hard workouts take a longer time to recover from
- Injuries tend to happen more frequently and take longer to heal
Shouldn't be happening in your mid 30s.
Finances/career:
- Retirement is a long way off
Then bust your ass and make it a goal to retire/semi-retire by 50. Many people would be capable of this if they lived within their means and stopped spending frivolously. Or pushed themselves into advancing in their careers.
- Inflation is rising faster than wages
Has happened before (in the 1970s) and we all did okay. Wages are also rising like crazy in many industries because of the labor shortage.
- Further career advancement isn't worth the additional stress, responsibility, and working hours
This is purely your choice.
Personal:
- Friends and most other people in the same age-range are too busy with their families and don't have time to hang out
Make new friends, or get married and start a family of your own. Don't be a whiny manchild about your friends not having time for Magic The Gathering or Playstation in their 30s. People move on, grow up, whatever.
- Grandparents have all died, parents are in their 70s and might not have much time left
Spend as much time with your parents as possible. Also, they could easily make it into their 80s or even 90s.
Politics/world affairs:
- Both the left and the right are getting too extreme
Who cares. This doesn't affect your day to day life.
- The easily extractable fossil fuels have run out. If we can't find more, the lack of dense, reliable energy will throw us back into a 19th century standard of living. If we do find more, the effects of climate change will throw us back into a 19th century standard of living.
Put down the bong dude.
Tech advances:
- Social media is a net negative
Then get off of social media.
- Cool futuristic adventures like space tourism are only available to the ultra-rich
- Technology is slowing down, 1972 to 2022 had a lot less change than 1900 to 1950.
Who cares.
Your in your mid 30s. You've easily got 20-25 more "great" years (of mobility, physical health, etc.). Then statistically, another 15-20 years of varying quality which you have a lot of control over. Do you really want to have this mindset the entire time?
