Me and a few teamates are training for a half marathon and weekly we have done 8 or 9xmile sessions in about 5:15's on 2 min rest. is a jogging recovery helpful for when you are restarting the miles, i get dead legs in the first 400 or so (lactic acid settling?) and it seems to hamper my being able to drop the times later in workouts. Would this help or is this just fatigue from doing the first 6-8 xmile and trying to run hard or would a jogging recovery help to eliminate this problem?
