Ryan looked like she jogging the whole race and well under control on last lap. They did not show Steelman and Reinhart on last lap except the last 10 meters.
Ryan finished VERY strong. Did not look like she was even trying on the last lap. Was doing the Tomahawk Chop during the last 20 meters with an effortless smile on her face.
Wow. I didn't watch the 10K, only followed the splits. Seemed like Ryan and Reinhart closed like freight trains. How'd it look?

Elly was also a senior. KT is a sophomore looking to qualify for her first outdoor nationals. As long as she is healthy she has a really good shot to win the NCAA 5000. IMO no reason for her to run the ACC 5000 at all. It does not matter that she can win, but that will probably take around 15:30. Just no reason to make the effort. Run a good 1500 then prepare for regionals.
Tend to agree KT will run 5k. Fri-off, 1500/5k not crazy double actually good workout with plenty recovery til regional. Do think she will run it slow and just wind it up last mile.
A little recognition for Dominique Clairmonte, hanging on for 6th in 10k. She had a season for the ages in xc fall '20 and never really found that form again. Despite that she has been a true warrior since then, with real help in the 3/21 2nd place xc team, being often a pro quality pacer, and her recent 5k pr. Hoping she finds some magic for NCAA.
There will be a lot of healthy competition next fall for slots 5-7 on the xc team. Howlett, Holt, Quarzo, Rauber, Schulz, Starliper, Mareno etc. have all shown promise for those slots. Great to have depth, someone will emerge.
Also why didn't Moreno run in the 1500 relay she looks like the third fastest 1500 m runner they have... I mean I guess the obvious answer is she was probably dealing with some sort of minor injury but...
If you have it on your cable ESPN automatically finds it, if not I'd imagine you can pay for it
Anyway just download the ESPN app and you can watch most of the college conference championships
i wont be able to watch on espn app without running a vpn .. i live across the globe
and if i did, id be paying for both a vpn app, espn app, and then run a screen recorder which will produce a very low quality video because vpn slows down the wifi connection ..
we have youtubetv but it only shows day 3 as an upcoming event ... i synced it to espn but it still doesnt play .... is there a playback??? has the livestream been uploaded at espn/acc network????? or do they even upload a playback?
wait i just realized theres 3 versions of the "upcoming" acc outdoor champs event ,, i guess youtubetv shares the clips but its going to be 3 days late i assume
