It seems that inventory of the Mizuno Wave Spacer in my size has been entirely depleted. Any suggestions for a similar shoe ?

Mizuno will release the Idaten in Feb. It should replace the Spacer.
Could also try the Katana Racer by Nike.
Thanks Stipe - that's the answer I was hoping for. Have two pairs that I am rotating so I should just make it . . .
Fartleked - I'm a 13 in Nike's and can't seem to find any Kantanas that big. Are they out there?
Have you tried the Revolver? I love that shoe.

I think they only make the Katana to a 12.
I actually supinate a little bit, so I tend to like as much flexibility in a shoe as I can get. I've run a few 5ks in the Revolvers and really like them, but for day-to-day running their a little stiff (for me).
Been running in the Spacers every day since last Spring and love them. Only gripe is that the uppers fall apart before the rest of the shoe, but I still get about 500 out of them.
That makes sense. I have flat feet and the Revolvers are perfect.
Also, Asics will replace the Tiger Paw in January (the name escapes me). The upper should be a bit softer and it will not have a trustic bridge in the midfoot, so it should also be quite flexible.

I cut slots in the sole and it helps some.
