There is no language called "kenyan."

Harambee is Swahili for: Pulling together as a team.
Mambo Bado is Swahili for: The best is yet to come!

Do Kalenjin tribes-people speak Swahili? I thought Swahili was spoken mostly on the coast. I think Kalenjins speak English better than they speak Swahili.
Yea it is run faster than every one else. dont worry if races dont have spectators all over the place, we have to feed our families, and while we are at it we want to break records and beat everyone else.
their new motto should be, "okay now its time to gang up on bekele"
Swahili --->> "Na Bado Mazuri"
Kalenjin ---->> "Thoma Neghararan"
I've heard that most kids in Kenya grow up speaking their tribal language, Swahili is then taught in primary school, and English in secondary school. Or maybe that is primary school is taught in Swahili and secondary school is taught in English.
In any case, the Swahili language did arise around the coast, and is the primary tribal language of some there. For most of the rest in Kenya it is something of a common second language. I think.
