There's a reason IL should have had 2 or 3 teams at NTNs, buddy. That reason will be aparent when York rolls everyone again. Palatine is still better than half the teams that will be at NTNs, despite losing to York by 83 points.
Anyways, the Detweiler course is very flat (imagine that in IL...), except for a long, verrrry slight uphill that you go up 3 times, the last being the finish.
Here's the course layout, 3.0 on the dot, GPS certified. The IL state meet is something to behold. Pretty rare to get a couple thousand spectators running back and forth to scream at the runners.
