You are correct, it may not be funny to everyone. That being said, it is still not meant to be taken seriously, or thought of as being important. It does not seem Wejo or Grote take it as being important. It is in jest. Sometimes simply reading the words of a given text is not the important part, but the context in which the words are placed should be considered. It is called reading comprehension, which can be an important skill as we navigate through life.
