No, the unvaxed father would have blood on his hands
what kind of father wouldn't get vaccinated to potentially save his son's life
Yes, that is the real question. Extract my kidney, but dont ask me to do the basic requirements of transplant medicine. TXP medicine ask a lot of people, doctors, and families to maximize success, getting vaccines is possibly the easiest. Kid needs a real donor.
A 60-year-old Orange County man died after receiving a second dose of the coronavirus vaccine. Now investigators are trying to determine if the vaccination played any role in his death.
Says someone with the intellect of a child. Grow up.
It's the hospital denying the surgery.
Not the Dad
So, when you are barred from eating at a restaurant because you don't have shoes on, and they have a "no shirt, no shoes" policy the restaurant is stopping you from eating right?
When you show up to a stadium to watch a basketball game, and they say "sorry no bags unless they are clear bags" but you brought your back pack with you, the Arena is stopping you from watching the game?
When you go grocery shopping and you want a tube of toothpaste, but you don't have any money the store stopping you from maintaining oral health?

Huh?
Isn't the hospital denying the surgery?
What does a eatery having a shoes and shirt requirement have to do with that?
R U going to tell me we have to stop at a red light?
I am frightened by just how ridiculous so many people are
You. Again. Jesus every time you come here you get proven wrong. Again and again. For every person who dies BECAUSE of a covid vaccine, there are literally hundreds of millions who don't.

No, Friend. All the caring dad had to do was take the jab. Simple. Painless and VERY likely VERY safe. And, even if it wasn't safe he should be more than willing to risk his life for his son.
It takes two to be stubborn. Both the hospital and the dad are being stupid.
On balance though, it is the hospital who needs to be the adult in the room and let the transplant occur. The dads vaccine beliefs shouldn’t prevent his son from getting his kidney.
There is no good reason why someone should need to get a vaccine before giving a kidney if they don’t want to. Inform them of the risks, then proceed.

As ignorant as it gets. Entire hospital systems, and the rights and safety of others matter not because somebody believes they don't need to get a jab.

Entire hospital systems and the rights and safety of others are not put into jeopardy because one unvaccinated person get their kidney removed.
I especially love how you suggest “rights” would be violated, what possible right could be violated?
