Y’all are hard on this dude. I used to watch to his videos. Might have to start again to see what all the fuss is over the mental breakdown takes lol.
"Literally nobody." Of course I need to read nothing else, cause this is "literally" pure idiocy. But sure, "facts" ... he is doing what he wants, making an income running, and raising his family just fine. You write this and accuse him of wasting his life: an opinion under a notion of "facts"? GTFO... look at your sad life: diminishing a two-time race winner when it's you who has "literally" done nothing as noteworthy and it's you are sitting in your basement spending your time typing this nonsense.
Your question answers itself: you have nothing, except some weird hysterical logical blindness. He won, dude. Twice. Just cause you don't like it, awww poor little boy, doesn't change a thing. Cope.
Quite the contrary man, life ain't sad and I'm actually making money at a pretty good job while writing this! I understand you hate the facts I stated and have nothing to say to refute. You do simply as most unintelligent people do when they have nothing to refute an argument, resort to name calling. I didn't say he hasn't done anything noteworthy but honestly he is a hype job. He isn't among the top guys even in his own State for Mountain or road racing. He has a bunch of people fooled because he has a YouTube channel so people get this misleading idea that he is somehow a top level guy. NOT at all, by far. Again, check results of nearly every major champ in trail. Wacker and gray are crushing him regularly from Colorado. Add in some other top names from across usa at races not at 14,000 feet and seth isn't even top 10 most likely.
1. I am not a boy.
2. You have serious anger issues. Seek help.
All the best
You have no argument. He won. And now you're just also just spewing lies: he beat Wacker fair and square in their last matchups. So, your ignorance is just beyond comment. All logic and facts are gone the way of your own little feelings and bizarre bias.
If you’ve read these SJD threads here before, generally most have no issue acknowledging his Pikes Peak wins and in fact say he should ditch the roads and return to mountain running. Caveat though is that he should try a non local race against good competition (e.g. OCC) to see how he really stacks up against the best.
Ok, Child. Sorry to misgender you.
I think we've already established that our boy isn't "making a living" on YouTube, as the number of subs he has are nowhere near enough to support even his shoe purchase habit, much less the mortgage which has to be something around 2400/mo.
Not to mention the constant trips to the high country on $6 gas, flights to Detroit, Miami, and Europe, and the tech gear he hauls all over to chronicle opening microwaves, car doors and PO boxes.
Dude's a trust fund grown up baby, living the dream in his playroom. Amen.
Wacker destroyed him at the nationals when seth last ran them. He hasn't stayed away from nationals after getting whooped by him and gray. You didn't say anything about the others I mentioned who spanked him though.. I might have slipped with "their last match" but that doesn't disregard the other facts regarding the top guys who have consistently beaten him outright. For as much time as he puts into running, if I were him I'd definitely quit and spend more time with family. Winning pikes when nobody is there is not that great considering he didn't make that much money considering all the work and time he spent at high elevation away from fam. Just my economic opinion
Well, this is a fair response at least. I think he will stack up OK against the best. Not great, but Ok. He's not a sponsored elite professional. He is clearly one of the best run-tubers around. It would seem the guys who said he "literally beat no one" have some resistance to acknowledging his Pike Peak title defense, an insane emotional response. I'm glad you don't!
He does have two wins at Pike’s Peak. Both against weak fields during the pandemic. One in a year where wildfire smoke caused a few world class trail runners to opt out.
Two wins? Yes. Wins against elite competition? No.
I think you're way off and this is not "established." Kofuzi gave detailed numbers on his youtube income, and he has a much smaller following, so I think you underestimate his income, free shoes and other sponsors. Your trust-fund claim is pure speculation and likely fact-free garbage. (His earliest videos were him working regular jobs.) At any rate, what does this have to do with anything? Why do you care how he makes his money?
Why do we bash on Seth again? He's a better runner than probably just about everyone that reads the forums on LetsRun. I also don't understand the criticism for not being around family enough. I doubt he's working 14 hour days on his vlog. Him leaving the house to run is like you leaving the house to go to work. I think a lot of us would be happy to get paid well enough to have a house and kids without having to run world class times.
Lol, priceless. Ya, if you were him you'd make him like you: a guy who hasn't won any good races, doesn't make a living from his hobby, doesn't have 150k people who know who he is enjoy his content, and never inspired anyone.
Definition of all your posts.
Cry some more, it's fun to watch.
100%
I guess people get enraged by a guy who is a good enough runner and running promoter to make a living and live the dream. Jealousy and personal failure is likely the root cause. According to these chuds, not only is he a weak runner (who only won PP TWICE because of x or y excuse), he also makes no money and is bad for his family. It's a sickness with these people. And it's telling and amusing. And a more than bit sad. Some people just really hate themselves so much they project it on others doing things they can only dream about.
100% agree very well put.
I think people don't like him because they find him painfully annoying.
