👉THANK YOU for picking up your running shoes from the "DeMoor Global Running Store". You are supporting this channel's video creation by using the Running W...
If he gets the Q, expect much of the same for a couple years. If not, it's the odd drone-scenery-mountain-running vid now and then, and more coverage of youth soccer. He'll still try and be the shoe guru, leveraging the more format durometer tool he's got.
I personally love to watch another person doing routine stuff inside his house like I do in my own house. Opening doors. Making coffee. Getting out of bed. Eating. Talking to your family. Tying my shoes before I go for a run. It's fascinating.
He is losing it. Like, losing his mind. Insomnia is a telltale sign of both the psychological stress and of the physical stress in his life right now.
Physical - he is cooked. Too much mileage and too little nutrition. His endocrine system is completely overloaded.
Psychological - his family and friends probably should stage an intervention. The pressure of producing daily content, a fifth child on the way, and the expectations of his fan base are starting to crack him. In the video linked above, his drive past the old house was telling. Why do that unless you lament your choices and you pine for the past? The content is also getting pretty repetitive - a lot of B roll of Denver, running slow on a MUP path, etc. How many times have we seen this stuff before? Of course, Seth wraps everything in his signature toxic positivity and folksy catch phrases/repeating the same line 2-3 times for lack of anything better to say. Kind of like a self-aware addict, he constantly tries to hide his true feelings while rationalizing that it is for the good of his family.
Minor beefs - don't drive with your headlamp turned on! That can blind other drivers as you are scanning oncoming traffic. Plus, you have lights in your house. Why are you using a headlamp to drink coffee? Seems a bit silly when you have the kitchen fully bathed in light 8 feet away.
I see a sick man. Not an inspirational figure or a lifestyle guru. He really needs to get some help.

I'm with you on the nutrition. I don't watch a lot of Seth, but I've started to take note of what he eats when showing dinners, which he does an awful lot.
It's always something like a tiny salad and three almonds. I thought at first he was saving it for the cheeseburger he'd get later or whatever, but I never see him actually eating - he's just pecking at bird food. No wonder he's a manchild, but I do believe he's nutritionally lacking in basically everything, and has zero endocrine functions from hammering it halfway every day. Even his slow, 9 minute mile days are 17 miles or something. The guy doesn't get it.
He's going to fly all the way to Rotterdam to run 2:21. At best.
Jim is being quite generous. I think that he will struggle to break 2:25 and may likely DNF or jog it in like he did in New York. Nothing in his training indicates a 2:19 and I don’t sense any authentic confidence from him. He seems to hedge a great deal in his videos and hints at quitting the roads too much for a guy that believes that an OTQ is a given.
Agree somewhat with above poster that his content is a little repetitive. I don't think he needs to vlog everyday. I guess as long a True Love still loves him is all that matters.
What would reaaly generate interest for his channell is if he invited LRC's most famous Canadian to spend the summer with him in Colorado so he can try out his mad scientist coaching on someone that needs a little motivation. There appears to be plenty of room in the Shoedio.
I watch his vlogs. I wish he would only upload 2-3 times a week. I still enjoy watching but he feel he is a bit overexposed and going to less vlogs per week the quality would be better. I also think it’s time to branch out a bit. I actually enjoyed when he gets his brother and friend involved in the vlog. He should include more people besides his family. Maybe do some interviews. I still enjoy some of the content.
Didn't he interview Kilian for the release of the Phantasm and despite being given a pair was like '...yeah I haven't run in them yet'? He comes across as so in his own bubble and so consumed with his own life that he can't prep for an interview. Also comes across as a very bad listener. Too focussed on his next comment or thought. This is extremely evident whenever his wife opens her mouth.
For interviews D Bo's Freetrail YT channel is pretty good
