Without the "barbarians" in World War 2 we'd be living in the Third Reich right now...
Many of Ukraine's historical heroes were on Germany's side in World War 2...
Man, you just mainline the Kremlin propaganda.
A higher percentage of Ukrainians died fighting the Nazi than the percentage of Russians. And that doesn't include the 3-5 million people in Ukraine who were murdered via Moscow's genocide before the war started.
Without the "Russian" chunk of the USSR your heroes in Ukraine wouldn't have stood a chance. Not including the half that fought for the nazis of course.

On the eve of World War II, Ukraine was home to one the largest Jewish communities in Europe, with estimates as high as 2.7 million, a remarkable number considering the territory’s long record of antisemitism and pogroms. By the end, more than half would perish. When German troops took control of Kyiv in 1941, they were welcomed by “Heil Hitler” banners. Soon after, nearly 34,000 Jews — along with Roma and other “undesirables” — were rounded up and marched to fields outside the city on the pretext of resettlement only to be massacred in what became known as the “Holocaust by bullets.”
The Babyn Yar ravine continued to fill up as a mass grave for two years. With as many as 100,000 murdered there, it became one of the largest single killing sites of the Holocaust outside of Auschwitz and other death camps. Researchers have noted the key role locals played in fulfilling Nazi kill orders at the site.
You could just admit you were wrong and move on. But instead, you keep lowering the bar of how pathetic a human being can go.
You tried to claim all Soviet WWII deaths to Russian SFSR, when in reality, only about half were Russian. Russia lost a lower percentage of it's population than Ukraine, Belarusia, Latvia, Armenia, and Lithuania.
Okay I stand corrected.
You're not dishonest you're stupid.
By your ignorant logic Luxembourg suffered more than China did in WW2... lol.
I'll choose to focus on the progress you made here and ignore the strawman.
The number of tank crewman a country has is wholly dependent on the size of it's tank forces.
I don't believe a country with a decrepit military that had less than 500 tanks in the whole country in 2014 has thousands of tank crews in its reserves. If they exist at all they would be very poorly trained.
National Guard tankers in the US are considered untrained by US Army standards. American National Guard tankers have better training that Ukrainian active duty units.
So, wild idea here, but it seems like between 2014 and 2022, eight years passed. The relevant date seems like it would be February 2022?
Do you think between 2014, Ukraine didn't acquire any more tanks? Train any more tankers? Build up an army reserve?
And the U.S. National Guard is...completely irrelevant to this discussion?

That's not a strawman that's an example of your idiotic logic that percentage of casualties is what matters.
Ukraine suffered a lot of casualties because the war raged in Ukraine for years. Same thing happened in Poland and Belarus and every other country between Germany and Moscow that got fought for in both directions.
Without Russia there is no Soviet Union and these countries all fall 1 by 1.

How is the National Guard irrelevant? Ukraine has one as well. It's is part of the reserve system.
You don't seem to have any idea how military recruitment and training works or how long it takes.
Ukraine had less than 900 active tanks before the war started 55% of which have been destroyed in the war.
I don't see any reason to believe Ukraine has thousands of trained tankers just sitting around waiting for vehicles when there's been a war on for over a year.
Stepan Bandera was a Ukrainian nationalist who joined forces with the German Nazis during World War II because he believed that they would help his country gain independence from the now defunct Soviet Union.
Stalin beat your Nazis. Like Putin is beating your Nazis.
Coward. It's estimated that Stalin was responsible for the death of between 3 and 5 million Ukrainians during the 1930s.
In peacetime.
Coward.
That doesn't make your support for Nazis now ok.
I am against Nazis NOW. You support Nazis NOW.
You are getting beat by Russia for it. Don't invade and kill minority civilians with neo-Nazis, then you won't get liberated, like Russia liberated your Nazis in WWII.
Watch Nazis in Ukraine re-burying their dead with full Nazi regalia.
Not all Ukrainians are Nazis, but the many Nazis that do exist, enjoy the support of the government.
As we send money to Zelensky, he passes on favours to these guys.
The official Ukrainian church. The only church now allowed in the Ukraine of Volodymyr Zelensky celebrates the birthday of Stepan Bandera. Bandera was a Ukrainian nazi responsible for slaughtering thousands of Poles and Jews.
The Wagner Group is looking for recruits to oppose "Nazis".
Good luck
I support just one Nazi group? You support many....
In addition to Azov Battalion, there is the Aidar Battalion, C14, and National Front, which are all Nazi military or Nazi political organizations that Zelensky folded into his govt.
No other country has Nazi battalions and orgs officially in their ranks, integrated into their military and into their government. Or in every part of their civilian society, like Ukraine has.
It's all over their military because it’s all over their entire society in civilian life. Normal people embracing Nazi culture in church's, schools, city festivals, street signs, in shopping mall, parades, funerals... national holidays for Nazi sympathizers, it's everywhere.
Ukraine’s army solute is from a Nazi sympathizer. Ukraine has a national holiday for a Nazi collaborator. Russia does not.
Ukraine is a Nazi state, Russia is not.
This week is Maslenitsa traditional folk festivity around Orthodox Easter;
◾ Maslenitsa in Ukraine 2021. As you can see the main theme of the festival is the Nazi Black Sun or Sonenrad symbol, totally assimilated into popular culture, as the Nazis did,🤢🤑🤡😈 pic.twitter.com/nWxUYjiMXx

Interesting thread and idea here: that rU is using battle of bahkmut to severely weaken Wagner. Ru does not need the city…but looking past the war the Kremlin believes it needs a weak Wagner.
interesting idea. Shows some cunning.
NEW: #Ukraine will continue to defend #Bakhmut for now. While Bakhmut itself isn't intrinsically important operationally or strategically, Ukraine’s fight for it has become strategically significant due to the current composition of Russian forces there.🧵 https://t.co/MKpVxSLnlIpic.twitter.com/tDKUJTCTRn
It is reported that Russia has kidnapped 17,000 Ukrainian children. Why?
DeNazification? Control NATO expansion?
Because this is Pure Genocide and a desire to exterminate Ukranian people, culture. It has always been that. Just like Stalin's genocide in Ukraine. If Putin could drop a nuke, chemical weapons or bioweapons without any strategic penalties to himself he would do it in a second.

Interesting in 2012, before the Euromaidan, in normal times when 'nothing' is happening..... except civilian Nazi mobs in Ukraine attacking THEIR OWN FANS because they are minorities / people of color.
Nazi supporting police at the game did nothing to stop Nazi fans from attacking peaceful attendees sitting in the family section, supporting the same team as their attackers:
"Now I am about to find out why the Foreign Office’s Euro 2012 travel advice warns: ‘Those of Asian or Afro-Caribbean descent and individuals from religious minorities should take extra care’ hundreds of Ultras, including Vadym, punch their chests, salute and shout ‘Sieg Heil!’ Of their Nazi ‘Hail Victory’ Fighting breaks out right behind us. Then a group of Metalist Ultras head towards some of their fellow supporters in the family section. They are Asian. The Metalists drag them to the ground and pound them with kicks and punches. The violence is relentless, but this time the police are nowhere to be seen. Fathers, mothers and their children are forced to flee as, one by one, another victim is set upon – I counted five."
Nazi mob lies in wait for England fans but attack their own fans who are not white: Riot police march into battle against thugs on Euro 2012 terraces - but turn a blind eye to racist chants and violence

and the corollary to that main idea...since an RU goal is to kill off Wagner as a fighting force and rival to power, that means RU forces will be weak in that area, after RU and UKR kill off so many Wagnerites.
When you significantly weaken an offensive fighting force, you create a chance for a meaningful counter-offensive. Which UKR could start at any time, and it could be quite effective.

Obvious answer is it's propaganda, a lie.
