Of course.
An obvious lie.
The CIA knows a plan to overthrow Putin and lets this know in Fortune and names the conspirators?
Any idea how stupid you have to be to believe that?
Of course.
An obvious lie.
The CIA knows a plan to overthrow Putin and lets this know in Fortune and names the conspirators?
Any idea how stupid you have to be to believe that?
Any idea how stupid you look when you credit information from an exCIA agent one minute and then discredit information from an exCIA agent the next minute?
Never crossed your mind that one guy would tell the truth and the other a lie?
That there is no Ukraine nukes program and that Israel has been claiming they are weeks away for over 30 years now?
You really think US knowledge of a planned coup in Russia would be printed in Fortune with the conspirators named?
Come on.
You can't be this dumb
C'mon, man, are you seriously saying Putin's a strategic genius because Boris Johnson didn't stay in office (surprising nobody), Italian governments are unstable and various 3rd World countries undergo instability periodically? Get a grip, dude!
America F*** Yeah!
There may not be ukrainian soldiers around to operate them.
Just a million!
Ukraine F*** Yeah
Ukraine bravely advancing, gloriously overcoming all resistance, towards the West.
Something else Putin knew.
^Bloomberg:
Saudi Arabia Reveals Oil Output Is Near Its Ceiling
The world’s biggest crude producer has less capacity than previously anticipated.
Germany’s Foreign Minister said Berlin warned Ottawa that the EU country
could be forced to suspend military and economic aid to Ukraine if a
Russian gas pipeline turbine stranded in Montreal, a result of Canadian
economic sanctions, wasn’t returned.
Annalena Baerbock said the German government told Canada that if the
missing turbine led to a stoppage of natural gas from Russia, it could
spark popular uprisings and force Berlin to halt support for Ukraine.
The Ukrainian government is largely dependent on Western aid as it
fights off a military assault by Russia that began in late February.
Saudis lie all the time about their capacity. They want prices to stay high and do not want to boost production in order to push prices down. So, they are going to tell everyone they are maxed out and can pump anymore. But back when the Saudis wanted to put US frackers out of business, they were pumping 10.5 to 10.6 mil barrels. Saudis are right now pumping at 10.35. If they wanted to, they could get up to close to 11 mil barrels. But that would sink crude prices in a big way. And to put things into perspective, the Saudis brought oil prices from $120s down to the $50s in 2014-15 by pumping out an extra .5 mil.
From the "what could possibly go wrong" department:
Russian forces may be storing heavy military equipment in the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) in Enerhodar to protect it from Ukrainian strikes. Ukrainian state energy enterprise Energoatom reported that Russian forces demanded access to the engine rooms of reactors 1, 2, and 3 on July 20 and transferred 14 pieces of heavy military equipment and ammunition to the engine room of reactor 2 on July 21.[26] Energoatom reported that the Russian equipment is placed closed to highly combustible materials and makes the engine room inaccessible to emergency services in case of a fire. Energoatom warned that the detonation of the Russian ammunition at the Zaporizhzhia NPP would cause a disaster on the same scale as the Chernobyl disaster.[27] Odesa Military Administration Spokesman Serhiy Bratchuk stated that Ukrainian forces destroyed a Russian military position in occupied Enerhodar, Zaporizhia Oblast, on July 21
good lord. The fabled Big Red Machine is all-in and can barely take small Ukrainian villages. And if they do manage to conquer these patches of dirt and rubble they do so at great cost to their men and machines.
The Russian army will take a long time to recover from this one. Maybe some generals will figure out soon that Putin is their enemy, not Zelensky.

NEW from Senior U.S. Defense Official on the war in #Ukraine:
Russia has committed nearly 85% of its military to the war in Ukraine… It has removed military coverage from other areas on their border and around the world.
Nick Schifrin
@nickschifrin
Russia is presently launching tens of thousands artillery rounds per day. “They can’t keep it up forever,” the official said. “They have expended a lot of their smarter munitions... Their capabilities are getting dumber.”

Official says with the help of HIMARS, Ukraine has taken out more than a hundred “high-value” targets, attacking Russian command posts, ammunition depots, air-defense sites, radar and communications nodes, and long-range artillery positions.

@nickschifrin
Russia is taking hundreds of casualties a day. Among Russia’s military fatalities have been “thousands” of lieutenants and captains, “hundreds” of colonels, and “many” generals. “The chain of command is still struggling," the official said.
The US assesses Ukraine “has taken out more than a hundred high-value targets,” according to a senior US defense official. Most of the targets have been in the east in recent weeks as the Ukrainians have been able to improve their precision targeting with the use of US provided artillery.
“These strikes are steadily degrading the Russian ability to supply their troops, command and control of their forces, and carry out their illegal war of aggression,” General Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff told reporters on Wednesday.
just read an amusing take on the war.
So there are two fronts right now. Donbas (east) and Kherson (south, on the water near Odesa).
Donbas is an artillery slugfest, but with declining RU capabilities. Not much movement or change going on there except some evidence RU is running out of ammo.
But in the south/kherson...remember when UKR warned people in Kherson to get out because a UKR counteroffensive was starting soon? This was a couple weeks ago. Many armchair generals yelled ' why are they giving away their strategy? Dumb!!!'
So now it looks like we know what happened. RU, idiots, believed UKR. So they rushed men and arms down to Kherson to defend that part of the line. But UKR had no plan for an offensive. they just wanted RU to create all kinds of targetable ammo dumps and concentrations of men around Kherson. So UKR could then blast away at it with their new toys.
Which is happening. RU fell into the trap. Again. Will there be a counteroffensive in Kherson? Maybe, after RU spends some weeks living in a firing range surrounded by Ukrainian spotters, telling UKR where the RU dumps are.
UKR continues to impress with its street smarts. RU continues to amaze with its dunderheadedness.
Just keeps getting better… LOL… we definitely weren’t saying this 5 months ago when this proxy war kicked off…
LOL
That is one of the most Russian things I have ever heard of...which says a lot as I study their history.
