Agree and nico Young should have started slower like nur did
Agree and nico Young should have started slower like nur did
Tuned in to witness the annual Godwin rabdo special on the home stretch, was not disappointed.
Spilt shorts over quarter tights like a dork.
The problem is that it worked for him in 2020-2021...when the field was more watered down. Now everyone seemingly can run 13:20 if they have to, so he can't run away from them anymore.
He might be the worst racer ive seen at the NCAA level. He took it out in 58.5 for no reason just to slow it down? Took out NCAA cross last year in 2:32 K, took the 5,000 and 10,000 out hard outdoors and died too. Does his coach ever talk to him about this.
Yeah, they also said Nico's brothers are faster than him (not yet) and that they were going to college next year, wrong, they are juniors. The brothers must have laughed hearing that.
I agree but look he’s still a frosh and even beat Wildschutt who is a sub 13:10 runner. He now has the experience of racing ncaa indoors and looks good for the 3k this weekend. Nur is just on another level right now.
and they called Evan Miller from South Carolina a Texas Tech athlete
and earlier said no running finals today (5000m / DMR dont count I guess)
Not trying to be a dick, but it's just constant errors and misleading anecdotes.
he's a 4:01 miler and he goes out in 58 in a 5k.... that is beyond dumb.
I've known some runners who go out way too fast in every race and die, and whose coaches have talked to them over and over about how dumb that is, but some runners are just really stubborn and don't care. They would rather do it their way and fail, then to run a different way and win.
Gotta wonder what has happened to Kiptoo, has looked like garbage for like last 5 races, finished way back in conference meet too.
Not going out particularly fast in this 1200 leg. Probably will even/negative split
Voelz from ND ran a horrid leg. Lane 2 the whole time
Ole Miss fell at the exchange
ole miss is done
This discussion has come up many times and Kiptoo and his coach have both addressed it. Last year they were saying that he might not go out fast all the time. Nice job for Nur and wise of him to hold back in that first 200, though even he was 30 flat.
What's up with the separate but equal meet format with the full slate of men's races being run and then the full slate of women's races later? Makes it really difficult for people in multiple events as it basically cuts the recovery time in half.
I'm timing Nuguse 27.33 first 200!!
Nuguse down about 2 seconds at the exchange
Nuguse 27.33, 28.41 (55.74). Then 30.95, 31.70 (62.65). So that's 1;58.39??
