His apology was lame at best. He apologized only for getting caught. Just like the rest of the Americans throughout history!!!!!

There are WAY too many reasons to doubt his exceptional times into his mid and even late 30's!!!!!! Get a grip!!!!! His legacy is clear. NOTHING but a cheater!!!!
His apology was about as sincere as that of Marion Jones. Just another in a long list of American cheaters!!!!!
He's the ultimate villain. I love the crowd booing him at every introduction and booing his win in London. That said the crowd is rather hypocritical as that same meet Blake and Bolt were wildly cheered.
Maybe he confesses what and how he did it,but I doubt it as former dopers are now rising up in the ranks of the IAAF as officials. He might think he can be one of these people x years down the line.
Thank you Sally. At least someone on here understands, that once you have been caught cheating, you can NEVER undo that. Justin Gatlin should be remembered as NOTHING but a cheater!!!!!!
Greg get your head out of your a**. When someone gets caught cheating, any results after that should be viewed with great suspicion. This is especially true of Gatlin who performed at a VERY high level into his mid and even late 30's, a time when most sprinters have LONG retired!!!!!!! He only apologized for getting caught and NOTHNG more!!!!!
That apology was about as insincere as that of Marion Jones. The only thing missing in Gatlin's apology were the tears!!!!!!
He should ONLY go down as NOTHING but a cheater. Well said AsAnd!!!!
Beautifully said GraceKelly. I could not possibly agree more!!!!!
Having served 10 years for doping bans, Gatlin is a stain on athletics.
Though in his defence, every top-level sprinter around him was probably doping, too.
He just wasn't as good at not getting caught.
