When it takes Viagra just to play an Internet word game?
Apparently you and Knox Harrington outta know! I sense jealousy from you both over I’m guessing a college student who went out to have some fun. I’m 33, yesterday, and I support him 100% Keep playing word games on a Saturday night gramps
33 year-olds should not need Viagra, try cutting back or upping your mileage, calories, sleep, and other things until you get it right. Run a time trial to be sure if you have to.

Yes, I too support Gooooood Grief 100% in his endeavors tonight. His attempted dig at Flagpole cracked me up because I suspect Flagpole's been posting here about retirement savings longer than Mr. Grief has been alive.
I haven't tried it yet.I play chess.I play the piano. I don't just talk about it on message boards, I actually play it.I take students occasionally, but only those who are humble.I wouldn't teach an arrogant wannabe.
They already did for the Brits - spellings went American a week ago
On my computer, I saved the old site as an HTML file set just in case NYT began charging etc. If you haven’t refreshed your browser and still show the old site, you could do likewise. I play on an iPhone though so am on NYT version now.
Nope. I would never say or think such a thing. There really isn't a lot of brain power needed for this anyway. It's just fun. There is a HUGE element of luck depending on what you choose for your first and second word. So far, I have played 32 times and gotten it right 30 times. I am sure there are people with a better winning percentage than that.
That is a pretty high winning percentage. Very impressive. 94%. Incredible. You are the man!
I’m 33 for 33, with an average 3 guesses. Use same approach as another poster - start each game with a different word off the top of my head, one that has two or three vowels.
If I get any correct, subsequent guesses always include them.
Probably not the best strategy, but most interesting way to play for me.
I'm doing it. In my observation females are good at this. My wife can't come near me on the NYT mini crossword but she has beaten me in Wordle. Lots of chicks are crowing about their 3s and 4s. Posting results every day. Guys don't do that.
Yep, men never brag about stuff.
Men brag about lots of stuff, of course. I just haven't seen them brag about Wordle.

I call BS on the "average 3".
Let's see a screenshot of the Wordle summary of your performances.
Yes, I think it's a good way to tune out the world for a few minutes. Sometimes I even play wordle unlimited when I want to play more than once in a day.
I agree there's a huge element of luck involved, especially when you get a word with the same 4 letter combo that could be one of several words, eg raked, baked, faked.
I used to have a go to first word attempt but I agree it's more fun to mix it up.
