I was injured during late winter/early spring 2021. was basically running 9:00/10:00 paces for 3 miles and then started doing really hard track workouts. Opened my season running a mile in 6:05 and worked down to 5:43, so eventually I got back into shape and PRd.
Every single 3200 meter time trial I've done has been in the 12:50s in September and November. I'm a 20:45 5k runner. is my hope of ever subbing 5:40 in the mile gone? I've been injured again this winter and I'm not very confident I can even run a mile under 6:20 lol.
