SZN opener this weekend, tripling at a local meet with the 1500m, 3000m, and 400m. Feel pretty fit, just got a pair of Dragonfly spikes!
Just did my final tuneup session today. I did 5x300m with 90 sec rest averaging 48/47 then 2 minute recovery and did 4x200m averaging 31 seconds.
My staple workouts have been 3-5 mile tempo runs averaging 540/545 followed up by 200s around 33/34. Another one is the 1600m cut down workout. The last one I ran a low 5 1600m, 2:28 800m, 1:48 600m, 68 400m, 50 300m, and 32 200m.
Last week I also did 3 sets of 3x300m with 30 sec rest between reps & 2 between sets. It was tough but I averaged 51 for the 300s. Let me know if y’all have any questions!
