A brief check of Facebook shows that most of the top pros when they hit 40 and definitely 50 don't run a step and a lot don't workout either. Some are involved in the sport, but many are like" o yes l used to run little back in the day", although they actually got 4th in the Olympic Trials. And this is true at the sub elite level too! Kenyans are worse! Many of them put on a lot of weight and drink after they are done. My question is who are the athletes running in their 40s,50s 60s,70s,and beyond?Did they take up the sport later in life?
