Thanks Roy.
Second to finish might be Milkesa Mengesha, 21yo who was tenth in the Olympic 5000m final on the track. Ran sub 13 to make that team, something only 9 Americans has done: including Bob Kennedy and Matt Tegenkamp. Won World Cross Country U20 in 2019. PB at this distance on the roads was this last Nov in Lisbon in 59.48 when 6th.

Next may be Victory Chepngeno. Had a busy weekend this last Nov 20 and 21. Won the Philly Half on the Saturday in 67.22 [only 3.07 behind the men] then the next day won the Flanigan's Rockin' Rib 10k in Davie, Florida in 31.51. The Philly time stands as her PB but on a course not eligible for records. In 2019 Victory won both the Crim ten mile in Flint in 51.35 and Monterey Bay half in 68.03.

Third could be Bayelign Teshager, 21yo who was 6th in the Boston Marathon in October in 2.11.16. Holds the World U20 best for 25k when third in Kolkata in 2019. Also that year ran his PB over this distance in winning in Azpeitia, Spain in 60.31. This last Sept, was 5th at Adidas HQ in Germany over 10k in 27.24

Third lady should be Sara Hall, ninth here two years ago in 68.58. Won the Row River half later that year 40 sec quicker but on a course not eligible for records. Is Sara the best American marathoner at the moment?
Clueless.
Some of the athletes you mention have already scratched or did not get their w-passports in time.
You are no authority.
Don’t listen to this guy.
Fourth to finish may be Wilfred Kimitei, 36yo. 6th at RAK in 2018 in 59.40 and 11th this last November in Lisbon in 60.03

Sixth could be Tsegay Tuemay who was ninth here in 2018 in 60.50. That PB places him 16th among Eritreans. Looking at other countries: 16th American time is 61.27, British is 61.57, and Australian is 62.25

Seventh on debut should be Kirubel Erassa, more soon.
Anybody have more info on Raymond Magut? Newly turned US citizen? Still listed as Kenyan on World Athletics but it says USA on the Houston Half start list. He ran 60:16 & 60-flat this fall. 2nd race was at the Adidas test event in Germany. Brojos/Gault will just be mad & go on their not-American-born rant but it would be nice if they tried covering the sport & highlighting athletes. Seems like this guy could go after the AR on Sunday if they get a good day & go out at sub-60 pace. He went out crazy fast in that Germany race so likely can run a bit faster.
Could be would be should be might be…all you do is re-state the field’s top seeds with some race results. Give it up AussieMan.
Regarding the above, Magut is not a US citizen. He returned back to Owen Anderson (🤣🤮) for management in Michigan and Owen likely messed up his entry. I’ve seen Monicah also listed as US in some races.

As I have said before, vege, never been going to give it up because YOU say so. Find another thread to click on

PB over 15k of 43.55 when 6th in Jacksonville in 2017, then 3 weeks later ran his 10k PB of 28.54 when 9th in Charleston. Fifth in US 15k Champs last March 2 sec outside PB.

If, as I expect, Nell brings her PB down 2 minutes; could you also see a three min revision of her Boston time at the classic distance?
