If your position is that wearing the mask for 10 seconds reduces risk, then you should not even be in the restaurant because staying home would reduce the risk even more. If decisions about behavior are to be entirely determined by minimizing risk, the restaurant should be closed.
If, on the other hand, you have made the arbitrary decision that wearing a mask for only 10 seconds while walking to the table is a level of risk that you are willing to take and a level of risk that you feel should be imposed on everyone else, then you need to make the argument for your acceptable level of risk.
The level of risk of a behavior may be a matter of science. What is an acceptable level of risk ought to be a matter of rational discussion in a free society.
