Bow down to NAU.
Cooper Teare to the bottom of the well. Total respect.
Wow! Teare barely walking across the line! Early pace crushed him. Hard to watch
Looks like he DNFed, wonder if he was hurt or didn't see the point in finishing so far back. Rough showing for a 13:12 guy
notre dame shat the bed,,,,bad.

teare crawling to finish line??? wtf
Or nevermind he did finish. I was wondering what happened. Brutal collapse. Hopefully not injured.

Did you even watch the race?
Teare will make the next Oly 5K team and today will fuel the start of that journey

Damn. I’ve been right there, exactly in the kind of condition he is in. It’s been almost 25 years, but I can feel every bit of that. Credit to him getting across the line. I did too, and then I don’t remember anything until I came to on a stretcher.
Can someone explain why this would happen? Not eating enough?? How do you hit the wall this hard in a 10k?
Mantz should turn pro tomorrow and start training for the 'Thon. A lighter and faster version of Jared Ward minus the 5 kids.
I agree. I was referring to new girls breaking into the top 5. I didn't mention Bush because she is already there. I do think she will be strong for them again next year, and they have several possibilities to fill the 2 spots from Hays and Steelman. They just all ran so well today.
I think Coach Henes has done such a good job getting talented, competitive girls to put their individual aspirations on the sidelines and focus on the team goal. That is not easy to do, and they have clearly invested in that mentality. It really payed off today.
bad days from byu(team), notre dame and colorado. Oklahoma state bounced back after a terrible start. NAU was too good today. They didn’t go out too hard and worked together

Jenny Simpson did it basically and everyone on here rips her for it.
Didn’t realize Oregon was in this race until I saw Teare crawling at the end.

Jenny Barringer had a pretty good career after collapsing her senior year in her final ncaa xc race.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
