Gotta love the emotion and excitement that Lagat had for his sister.
Wish they had gotten that bit on camera! She's a beautiful runner, just like him.

Did shalane start with the elite women?
With the masses.
Seth looks done.
Albert Korir has a deceptive looking stride like Adola.
Seidel ran an amazing, consistent, smooth race. Her grimace is just her racing face. She was right there for a shot at the podium, but no one faltered. Doesn't change her fantastic effort.
Korir looks he's shuffling along, still gaining time though.
Kandie third behind Faniel now, oops...

Flanagan only 2:26 behind Pappas. She will catch her easily and beat her by several minutes.
So what will be Bekele’s excuse today?
wow seth dropping 8 minute miles? maybe he would get injured with more speed and less miles, but his training is terrible for road racing.

Seth can't break 2:20. I'm shocked.
Stuck a fork in that turkey! 🦃 🧈 🍞
Is the men’s over? Who are leading? My stream has just been showing the wheelchairers for a while.
Why do you hate Pappas so much? No one else is paying attention to her performance here except you.

Kandie blowing up big time at 3:20, 6th behind Nageeye now. Bekele might still catch him !
Korir does not have a beautiful stride. Neither did Salazar. Biomechanics from hell. But by god he threw some whupa** on the field. And he looks like he's out for an unexpected jog in his summer PJs. It's crazy. The field is GONE.
The Gawkinator!
Honestly a bit embarrassing.
The jump! 👀

Ouch, he just dropped a 10:08 @ mile 20.

Top American Man right now is NOT True, Ward, or Droddy. It’s US Army athlete Elkanah Kibet…
Kibet safely in 4th at 40K. It looks like he will be on the USA World Champs Team.
Elkana Kibet will get a spot on the WC team in Eugene at this rate. Ben True will miss out if he's not top 5. I think he can finish at best 6th.
Will True catch Bekele?
