The more I think about this, the more I wonder how liberal Hollywood is okay pointing guns at people. My kid can't point his finger at his friend in a game of cops and robbers.

It seems this Alec Baldwin epic film was extreme low budget. So low that the workers insufficient and over worked, to the point that the entire camera crew walked off the set hours before Baldwin shot two people. That could explain why the director of photography would have been behind the camera, and not the regular cameraperson.
Also of note is that Alec Baldwin one of the film producers. So, he is liable for much of what happens on the set.

Wow. Such crap. ALL Presidents are made fun of by comedians and sketch comedy. Bill Clinton, Obama, Jimmy Carter...ALL of them.
Baldwin was involved in a terrible accident. There is no way he is culpable here, and for you to bring up what you think of him as a person shows a huge lack of empathy or humanity on your part. You need some serious self-reflection.
You need to look in the mirror . you just blamed a women who died , for not getting vaccinated . You are a hypocrite .
Not a hypocrite at all. Baldwin was involved in an accident. That woman made a conscious decision to not protect herself and her family, AND she preached to others to also not. Her children are the victims in that situation, and I feel sorry for them. SHE was a moron.

Yes, but this was a prop gun, the news still is that they were filming a scene, and the expectation of what a prop gun would/could do is different from that of a gun with live ammo. From the info we have as of now, Baldwin should not be made to feel guilty at all, and people should have some compassion for him.
Alec Baldwin has killed more people than Trump supporters on January 6.

Baldwin can't tell what is kind or unkind . His comedy is based on mocking a personality trait of others . It is not the actor’s responsibility to safety check the firearm, you ignorant ass. That responsibility belongs to the prop master, who hands the actor the firearm seconds before the director calls action. And yes, I spent years in production.
Yep. I agree with Rojo that it is ridiculous that this has turned political. I didn't think one political thing at all when I heard that this accident had happened, and I wouldn't have no matter what political affiliation the actor had. It's simply a tragic accident as we know it to be today.

My question would be why did "the actor" have the gun, prop or not, pointed at the director of photography in the first place?
No we shouldn't. Why isn't okay to point fake guns at people and pretend to shoot them? That is what movie makers do. It is wrong.
Don't jump to conclusions. Somebody is dead. The justice system will decide if he is a murderer.
Yeah but Rojo knew it would turn political and so did I when I posted it, although anyone would have eventually posted it. It is like flicking a domino in terms of the inevitability of this story turning political, and frankly bringing out the worst in some posters. C’est la vie.

ALSO, I am SO SAD that she died. I wish she hadn't. That doesn't negate the fact that she was a MORON for not protecting herself and her family.
Don't pretend to know the family situation , because you read something online . You dont know why she didnt vaccinate . You are the moron , as is killer Alex Baldwin. Another loud mouth , turned killer .
INCORRECT! She was very vocal about being an anti-vaxxer and the reasons why. You are a very bad person to be calling Baldwin a killer.

THAT is a fair question. As I have already said, if there was negligence on Baldwin's part, I will excoriate him. They have still said they were filming a scene. I HOPE it wasn't something where he was fooling around and pointing the gun and pulling the trigger. I'm sure we will find out.

Maybe they were practicing for a scene.
Maybe he was angry because the crew had left so he was yelling and pointing the gun at people.
I wonder he how feels being a gun-toting mass shooter and murderer? It must be pretty surreal.
