I need help setting a marathon pace goal! The course is pancake flat and looks like nice cool weather. Probably can’t get any better conditions!
Recently ran a 20 mile race at 6:58 pace. It was a warm day, no one was around me the entire time and the course was hilly. I felt strong and kept that pace the entire way, very steady.
My training has been good, mostly following Daniels workouts, 7x 20+mile runs, two strength training sessions a week to prevent injury. Ran a 10 mile race in 1:05:21 and a 5k at 18:54.
Someday I would love to run sub3. I feel like I may be more like 3:03 shape, but shooting for that time is not nearly as exciting as 2:59:59.
I am a female who loves LetsRun…don’t ruin it for me. 😀
