toxic feminism. i like it. gotta fight fire with fire. speak their language.
Not really too much of a challenge to call out misogyny on here. About as close to a slam dunk as you can get.
Just want to quote this.
The problem with the mod's is always lack of range for humor, for me. It's like my wife is a mod sometimes.
For the rest of you on this thread, just a bunch of incels acting like you are talking to a woman by bitching about or white knighting what Molly said, whoever she is.
Of course this place is toxic with a bent to reactionary right wing extremism.

Mary Cain's lawsuit is categorically absurd. There is no basis for it. It is frivolous, ridiculous, and she looks like an immature spoiled gold digger.
She lost a lot of fans today.
It's not misogynist to call that out
It's not misogynistic to have zero legal backgrounds & bash her for exercising her American rights & call her an "immature spoiled gold digger" when you would applaud a man for doing that or just not care or comment on it?
I guess what I am saying is that Molly trolled you all. Yes, she did.
+1
She must have a really good life if this is what she has to complain about.
People have real problems.
I love the people who act like men don't take any sh!t on these forums. There are dozens of well hated and criticized male runners, coaches, etc. here.
You poor thing. Always the victim.

Molly seems like she is very angry.
Why was she at the Boston Marathon press conference. She really had nothing of value to share with the reporters other than being pregnant. I have a feeling that she will retire next year.
3 points that are all true:
1. Molly is a toxic feminist.
2. Molly is at the end of her career and wants to kick up dust to better position herself for a post-running gig (we've seen this with many other twilight female runners).
3. I used to think Molly was a "shut up and run" kind of runner and I was a fan. Then a few years ago I started seeing all her toxic feminist social media posts and I immediately stopped cheering for her and no longer considered myself a fan.
Thanks Molly!

There tends to be some debate as to what weight etc is "healthy" for women. The basic cliche is that elite women do not menstruate. A basic cliche being that "elite" is not really compatible with "healthy". The basic unhealthy situation of the elite lifestyle being somewhat ironic when elites live a borderline lifestyle, compromising health for sport, and then virtue signal about toxicity. A basic argument being that not menstruating relates to their low body fat and the stress of their training. If it ever ends up that an elite woman does get pregnant, basic information related to body weight and mileage could be somewhat helpful for many other women who are trying to guess where the boundaries are. Between healthy enough to have a child and lean enough to be competitive. What women have successfully raced, successfully given birth, and gone on to coach? What sort of bodyweight would these women have recommended Mary Cain target?
This thread easily proves everything she says about this site.

My only issue is that the women that were at practices with Mary haven’t stepped up and agreeed all this stuff was awful… hmmm Practices were normal for adult runners … Mary was immature and wasn’t ready to be criticized .. she thought she was Amazin and life would always be awesjme
Yeah, I bet there are a lot of women runners that found Cain to be insufferable but they cannot step up and say anything or they'll be sued or shouted down.
If I were a female runner Id find Caine's actions to be very embarrassing. It just shows that women cannot accept being coached the same as men, I'd resent the heck out of that.
