CJ’s body language: his facial expressions like blowing out and shaking his head, his occasional loosening of arms and fingers breaking form etc. says it all. He can’t be that uneconomical and pull off a win.

CJ is RALLYING. 5:01 16th mile!!!!
Prove me wrong CJ. I don't get why he'd throw a 5:20 in there. I mean tha'ts a lot .
Because it was uphill!!
NBCSN on YoutubeTV is streaming smoothly.

Parker is done. I called it
You called nothing. You were talking about his training and how he ran too fast which affected his race, LOL. You were wrong, accept it.

Albertson gap shaved down to 1:30. On track to be caught within 10K.
They better catch him within 10K !! He's at the 18 mile mark.

I agree with commentator: once the pack has Albertson in sight, they'll run him down. I'm amazed he's lasted this long.
We all are!! Made the race for sure. Would have been boring as heck if C J was tucked into that huge pack all morning.

Ever heard of Emil Zatopek? Full sending it doesn't care about form.
What’s CJ’s lead now?
1982, you just gotta stop engaging with an obvious troll.
I hope he pulls this off, but I image around mile 22 the wheels will come off.

Trolls
On Eurosport Tim Hutchins just said Katherine Switzer got pulled off the course in the New York City marathon lol.
Alberston has earned his Brook's sponsorship and then some for this race, not matter how he finishes. That's marketing gold being out there in the front.
Doesn't anyone remember the guy in the PowerBar shirt who did the same thing and led Boston like 7 years ago? Or Kim Smith? How does that work out? They ALWAYS bonk before mile 18. It's just a matter of when, so take bets now.

Yeah I'd vaguely heard the name before this but now I will not forget it any time soon.

Hoping he pulls it off is not going to happen. He will lose 30 seconds per mile and then be swallowed up quickly, very quickly
13 women still in it. We have 2 compelling races going on right now!
Actually the 5:01 on 16 makes sense as its downhill.
15 was uphill.
Here is the elevation chart.
http://archive.boston.com/marathon/course/elevations.htm
15 1:13:49 0:05:20 Albertson / Still no sign of pack
16 1:18:50 0:05:01 Albertson / Pack out of sight
17 1:24:19 0:05:29 Albertson / Leader slowing slightly
18 1:29:38 0:05:19 Albertson / Leader was pumping up crowd as he turned onto Comm. Ave.
I mean he held up ok for 17 and 18. That's 85 feet up hill which would slow you down by 15 seconds. So think of that may be at 520 and 513.
