Hasay is already falling off the pack. Yikes…
Abdi getting dropped at 2.12 pace

I have some boots on the ground and they revealed that C J's mom forbade him from running in a big pack as she didn't want him to risk catching Covid. Makes sense I suppose. And he did give his Mom a shout out while on camera about 2 miles ago.
Yeah, I don't buy that at all. Actually kinda ridiculous. It doesn't make any sense, period.

Is Des still in the main pack? I didn't see her in there last time they had a wide-angle shot...
Does the NBC sports feed keep cutting out for you guys?

She and her coach haven't been shy about discussing that she's nowhere near where she was, so it's not really a surprise. But seeing her run, I think those injuries did some real damage to her form. I think it would be a successful day for her if she could run 2:29.
Parker already working WAY too hard. Does not look comfortable at all.
I knew something was off in his last sweat elite video. He was supposed to run 5 miles at marathon pace followed by 200s. He ran the 5 miles at altitude at 24:30 and was almost all out. Obviously not his race pace at all. Very strange.

Missed the CR because of it. That hurts.
For sure. It was obvious from the gun that that was his sole objective. Ouch.
Tim Hutchings should shut up about the shoes. He’s starting to bore us with his whingeing.
Cj is on 2:06 pace at15k
Kara is a good announcer but like everyone she makes mistakes. I said the first time I heard her something. Along the lines ‘she’s good. She’ll say something wrong but say it confidently.’
Don’t take that the wrong way. She’s knowledgeable and has the credentials but half of announcing is the voice and cadence and that part for her is good. Some of her running analysis has mistakes.
Race Trauma = Choking
I like CBS as I kind of think you need more than two people in a booth to cover a marathon. They have people in the lead trucks and both Deena Kasotr and Toni Reavis.
What I used to love about this race when ESPN was on it was they had someone in the lead truck. NBCSN doesn't.
And we have Deena, Toni, etc. You can hear the fans on the crowd. It just sounds much more more exciting. You can feel the energy.
Toni Reavis is nailing it!!!
"He's like CJ is running 2:07 pace. What are the odds jhe does that? The main pack is running 2:11. Waht are the odds they do that?"
It's great commentary.

He was at altitude and it wasn't all out.

des L looks like she's just been dropped from main back!

If it turns out to be fraudulent, I'll have him turn in his boots. Desi off the back. Bummer.

WAY all out. He looked like he was going to fall over
Captain Colin Bennie looking extremely strong.
Ok. They just went to the guy in the lead pack and he says the women's pace is "fast" as it's 5:40 pace. He's enthusiastic but has no idea what he's talking about.
But I haven't seen a single commercial and they have split screen.
When I get annoyed with one, I'll go ot the other.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
