For context, I am a junior in HS, racing 5k/3m. For my past few meets I've been taking a sleeve of Gatorade prime energy chews about 15 mins before I run and have felt fine during my races. 2 weeks ago I ran out and ordered some more for my meet tomorrow but unfortunately they have yet to arrive, so I need an alternative option that will have similar effects. I did a bit of research and found that something like pretzels or an apple would be adequate, but wanted to see if you guys had any other options to suggest. Thanks!
