Monumental over reach by the government for a virus that is pretty much a non-factor for kids. Death rates and hospitalization rates for those under 25 are pretty much unchanged compared to previous years. A couple weeks after the start of school and they are only admitting about 15 kids a day to hospitals with COVID (and probably 40% of those are not even being admitted for COVID, but something else). Considering there about 8.9 million kids under 18 in California, the COVID hospitalizations are not even a blip on the radar. Pretty alarming that he is mandating vaccines for kids who have not even been approved for the vaccines and other who are in a demographic that is under emergency use authorization and not fully approved by the FDA.
I find this amazing. In Tennessee alone, we had a 20,000 case DAY in the state....and in that clip, a state average of 12,000 cases per day in that 7 day period...aggregating to about 84,000 cases across only a week.
Increases in cases and deaths happened once schools opened, many with no mask orders or suggestions, throughout students, staff, faculty and administration.
Everyone wants a normal society...but to want what you want at the behest of any first responder, child, or anyone in some type of influential service during a pandemic is deplorable. I'm trying to keep my temper even because I should blow up but then I hate myself for it.
So this time it's on you. Justify why you feel it's necessary to be an unrestrained a$$ during a pandemic that needs collaboration to end it?
