I need information about the Coros GPS watch !
how would you compare it to Garmin or Polar
Currently i am having a Polar and must say it is really really bad ...
Is it good for tracking intervals on the track (does it show .01 or just .1? )
What about user friendly such as garmin ?
Just give me everything I might need to know which new sport watch I should get !
Thanks
I use the Pace 2 and mostly love it. Needs charging every couple weeks’ish.
It has a track mode and it gives you distances to two decimal places. You can specify which lane you are running, so the track mode is more accurate than just GPS.
It’s very user friendly to me. Some might find the rotary dial new, but I quickly got used to it and like that there’s just two buttons with robust tactile feedback (unlike some Polar watched with depressed buttons) and one of the buttons is also a dial.
Great analytics for needing out although most of it is also just gimmicky. Gives you running power.
HR can sometimes act weird but that’s true of all optical HR devices.
GPS almost always latches on within 15-45 seconds but on rare occasions, it inexplicably takes several minutes even in open areas. Again, I’ve not seen any running watch latch immediately like the Apple Watch does, so it doesn’t bother me.
Some minor weirdnesses like it won’t show you Last Lap Distance on the watch face (after briefly flashing it) after the end of a lap, but it does show time, pace, speed (redundant with pace), HR etc for the last lap. You can see all distances for all laps at the end of the run course.
