Obviously a great performance at Bill Dellinger but also less than impressive when it comes down to HOW it was done. Coaching should be about DEVELOPING runners… not collecting a bunch of one-offs.

I remember Hawaii men's basketball doing this for a while, filling their roster all sorts of internationals and transfers. Often it comes down to those talented kids being more available and willing to play, and thus far easier to recruit than your more traditional recruits.
The age old complaint....college sports is just for American kids under 22 years old. Please....
True sophmore Simone Plourdes was a nice acquisition via BYU.
In her "meet the Utes" segment, she lauded her new coaches and teammates (individualized training approach of the coaches and great team atmosphere). Didn't seem to enjoy her time at the Y. Maybe the mandatory Book of Mormon classes dragged her down.
Emily Venters is running swell now that she escaped Colorado.
I find it humorous that you don’t think international kids need to be developed. Kind of ignorant.
I hope you are complaining about Colorado men’s team with all of their transfers.
They have a South African runner in Lisha van Onselen who transferred from Appalachian State and also ran at Coastal Carolina for three years.
She actually was the one who was running barefooted out there.
(Also ran barefoot in her other previous meet to open the season at Utah Valley)

Like Ted Banks did at UTEP?
He was very successful at recruiting athletes from several African countries to come to El Paso and be a Miner.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
