This is an incredibly stpid opinion, Malcolm Gladwell made very very salient points that were astute and needed in the mix of this topic, the only way you could say otherwise, and make no actual case about it in your post here, is if you have an agenda to try and discredit Malcolm Gladwell and Alberto Salazar both.
Make no mistake about it, and I've known Alberto since the 70s, he is an often insensitive moron, a dumbazz and an ahole, he is not however a doper, and never has been.
Gladwell made a very important point, and I know it because I saw it up close for several years, Alberta was never one to take any shortcuts.
Alberto's mistakes as far as implementing of fluids is concerned is more an act of forgettableness or incompetence, then actual doping, because an amino acid is a protein building block and not a drug.
Never in a decade of occasionally Reading Post here attacking Salazar has anyone ever got it right - and that documentary doesn't get it right either - there's a unifying element to every out of the ordinary technique Alberto innovated - it was about finding a legal ways to protect athletes immune systems from breakdown so they would not suffer the loss of their athletic health as he did.
That and age for recovery such as cryosomes, age for rehabilitating from injuries such as alter g treadmill, underwater treadmill etc
That's it.
A true gray area would have been microdosing up to the line, something that there's absolutely no evidence ever occurred. And I know too many people in and around and on Alberto's teams to believe otherwise.
Where we can agree, is that Malcolm Gladwell's primary assumption, or claim of 10,000 hours leading to elite performance etc turns out to be pretty much debunked.
This is a story, that in 20 or 30 years, the full truth will come out - if it doesn't come out in the appeal.
Alberto Salazar is guilty of being a dumbaazz nd an a hole and getting sloppy in testingof a nutritional supplement and a hydration and protein experiment - with none of his athletes.
Malcolm Gladwell, is only human, so no 100% of all of his articles and books are not 100% infallible, that doesn't mean he did not make coagenr points in that documentary, he absolutely did, and that was a point of view that absolutely needed to be rrepresented in that film aas well.
You can also say Alberto Salazar is an arrogant prick all too often, you can also say he's shallow in many ways, you can also say he's selfish in many ways, you can also say he doesn't have that many friends. He's always had a crappy personality, but that doesn't make him the demon that he's been made out to be here, and in this case. CKara just st not believable, and neither is KKCain, , other stories are just too complex and immature to get into.
