I think a tailwind on the home stretch.

Super-windy day, stadium doesn't seem to block the wind particularly well with low stands on the turn. Times are looking like they will be modest all day.
Wind positive or negative for the 100m straight?
Should be positive as they're talking running into a headwind when on the backstretch.
She ran 4:11 earlier this month... combined with a 1:58.73 PR, Price is having a tremendous age 30-31 season.

Tailwind
Devon Allen 4th in Tokyo, future NFL'er? See if he can sniff a 13 flat here for a P.R.
There are at least 4 Kenyans I believe are capable of sub-1:43 this year. But because they didn’t make the Kenyan Olympic team, they don’t get an invite run DLs.
+2.9 right now
You are all right
That was a 2.9m/s positive wind for the 110m hurdles.
Allen take the victory.
Lagarde is third, he finished well.
Allen beats Parchment with a 13.07, nice.

Really tough 4th place for Devon Allen in Tokyo. He's been rock-solid all season. Home cooking next year though, and I'd love to see him nab a bronze, this has been his best season ever.

Places are limited for and event like the 800m
Edris did not make the Olympics, he is still running today the 3000m. That's all due to the size of the field.
Meetings are also picking a variety range of athletes.
Much larger of a crowd today at Lausanne than at Eugene. Is track dead in the U.S?
That 110H was a good sign for the w100 later today. +2.9, strong tailwind can mess you up in the hurdles but hopefully can carry Thompson in 10.5 shape. 13.07 for Allen not too bad a time also. Only problem will be the temperature may be a little too cool, 10 degrees warmer would have been nice

Has the tailwind been pretty consistent?

Yep, so if you could give up your seats & Hotel room for Worlds, I'd appreciate it.

Thompson could run 10.4 wind illegal. Wind seems pretty consistent to me. from observing the flags and flowers

They're saying "gusty"
OK, that hurdle time was faster than expected.
Over/under on number of sub-7:30s?
I will say the line is 3.5, taking the UNDER...
Sowinski about to punch in his timecard to go to work with this LOADED 3K field.
