When are they going to ban Mboma. This sh!t is ridiculous. 22.67 to 21.81 in a month.
When are they going to do something about it? When the record is at 20.70?
Can is open and the worms are crawling around

There are procedured to be followed. It took many years in Semenya's case and this might be a different situation. We don't know. Only that something must be very unusual.
He almost had it, he was well clear and just wasn't able to get enough distance away from the bar on the descent.
Mondo had it by a ton! Just not quite deep enough. SO close.
Peacock is gonna keep showing basketball replay, y'all need to switch to the stream (first 30 minute free!)
Duplantis can break the wr by miles
He doesn't want to make the mistake Geb made with the 5/10 k and shatter it
More profitable to do like bunks and break it 1cm increments

MY GOD his hips were at 6.5 m!!!!!
Same as Bubka
Probably decent bonus payouts per wr

First one he almost had it. Now one last chance left for glory. Greatness.

We need a time machine to bring peak Bubka to the present to compete against Duplantis.

Mboma just receiving the final late teen-to- early 20s testosterone boost. They’ll (avoiding pronouns here so as not to the offend people with such dirty things like biological facts..) be even better in the next year or so. Could even be at the level of a decent NCAA male sprinter by then. The women in any of Mboma’s races then won’t stand a chance.

What the hell is Chelimo and his constant looking around? Run your damn race. And what's up with him hugging the Spanish runner before they have crossed the finish line. Cut that crap out.
Chelimo is so much more fun and interesting than any other distant runner.
Chelimo seems to spend a lot of energy F---ing with other runners in ways that don't quite get a DQ. I'm surprised he hasn't whipped out a cell phone and done a livestream during the race yet.

First time I see this knighton guy, just 17, amazing! If anyone can be touted to be the next Bolt, it should be him!
No question....he is IT.

10 minutes until W 800. Can Rogers nab a bronze? Can one of the 3 Brits? Will Athing look pressed?
Yes, Yes and NO.

I would love Knighton to sneak in for a bronze.
I want Knighton for gold.
I want ADG for gold (deserves it in many ways), Knighton for silver (keep him hungry). Bednarek for bronze.

Has any 800 final had that kind of depth? 1:58 for LAST? omg
I know...Bell was even beaming like she had medaled. She at least got a part of history-in-the-making.
Can BOTH Keely and Athing get 1:53 in the next few years?

Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
