400 is the much better event for Miller Uibo, doesn't really make sense to double if she has no shot in the 200.
Kerr took his heat a little too easy but I'm not that worried about him, hope someone will take one of these semis out harder.

Think it's Jill Montgomery, Tim Hutchings, and Tom Hammond as the American sounding fella?
That's not Hammond, he was thankfully put out to pasture a few years ago.
Sounds like BS to me. Who wouldn't start an Olympic race with a simple strain? A strain is a very mild sprain. Worst case, you DNF. He probably is glowing.

That’s crazy
Tweet posted 10 mins before the gun if tweet time and start times are adjusted for my phone.
What a POS

Yeah, not that old fart Hammond.
This guy did all the NCAA broadcasts, too. He's good. I like him.
I like this trio altogether.
Thanks for the info on Jill Montgomery.

SO GLAD Levendowski has been reinstated. Onto next round!
He had such a positive attitude about being pushed and shoved and tripped.
+1
Nuguse did what everyone else would do in his circumstances. You qualify for the Olympics, you go to the Olympics. Engels should have run faster.
Disgusting move by Nuguse. He knew this was an issue and spent his time hiding. Matt Ludwig was flown in right away when Sam Kendricks tested positive for COVID. Same thing could have happened with Craig Engels if Nuguse wasn't being so secretive. This robs Engels of an Olympic experience, something he will never get back.

really curious how getting injured and losing out on a life-long dream makes someone a POS. genuinely would like to know

Yeah just like Makhloufi in London.
El Bakkali + Hassan + Mekhloufi + Katir
Seems you psychic illness that needs some medics.
Do you think that El Bakkali could run after less than 12h of a 3000m steeplechase.
I will tell something. After what El Bakkali did in the final 3000m steeplechase I started really to believe in his chances to medal in the 1500m (eventually even a gold medal).
But let's stop here.
Things that will be annoying more are just coming....
Don't dream ... mirages are illusion.

You are a POS, not Nuguse.

Did he? His face the last 50m told me the heat was a little too quick for him.
Think we've got a mom in this heat

WTF?
Why only 3 heats of 16? You are asking for trouble with that many guys on the track running slow as hell. Of course people were going to fall.
Also why does Yared DNS right before the race? WTF! When did he get hurt?
If you’re going to have 48 runners, why not 4 heats of 12?
Top 5 Q plus 4 q.
Simple.
Sorry about Nuguse.
What’s with that Essay guy pushing everyone? Three shoves, one took out an athlete.

Yea that's fair, seemed to me he was just not prepared to change gears at all at that point. It's not a good sign but I'll wait to look at his semi, he's too fit for me to not give him the benefit of the doubt

That must be the reason why he was so selfconfident and kicked so well, right?
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
