I also saw it like that Jewett caused it. Is there a chance for Amos to get into the final then?
Nope, just rewatched it, Jewett's front legs were nowhere NEAR Tuka's. It had to be Amos clipping him. At first I thought it could be Roetich clipping his arm, but watching the replay again, nope, Roetich wasn't close enough. Tuka was too far in front and Roetich was too far behind. Either Jewett fell all by himself, of Amos clipped him. It really looks like Amos just slightly clips Jewett's right foot with his knee/quad when it is back, and Jewett brings the foot forward into his own left calf, causing him to go down.
I meant that Jewett fell by himself. But I only saw one replay so I'm not 100% sure in any way.
lmao, no way Warholm was going to break his winning streak!
Best day of the Olympics so far. What a meet this morning (or evening)!
Warholm and Benjamin making 47.30 look easy.
Rai is looking mighty good to me. He’s my pick for 🥇
Benjamin looked more comfortable than Warholm. I got him for the win.
Warholm will lose in the final to Rai. Rai looked so easy.
So impressed with Murphy. What a racer. Not in the best position but bullied his way through. I've been sceptical of his chances but I'm pinning the gold on him right now, especially with Amos out. Rowden had qualification in his legs but didn't have the confidence or ability to barge through like Murphy.

Once again Warholm gets an outside lane. This is no longer a coincidence.
I believe you get lane choice if you have the best times from the previous round?
I don't think so because I doubt Van Niekerk chose Lane One in Rio. It's usually based on time; 4-5, 3-6, 2-7, and 1-8
TJer Mamona from Portugal is so fine.
I am guessing that a lot of people will look at both athletes and pick the one with the most pleasing running style as their favorite.
Running is not a style competition........
Lots of hurdles hit in that second heat.
Oh wow, Dos Santos and Samba looking VERY strong.

I agree. He looked relax and easy. I'm picking him for the win.

That was insane. Idk who’s fault it is but feel for both. They would have been very in it at the end
I was able to loop it on the Canadian stream, I watched it up close three times in a row, outside angle and you could see jewett's knee get hit perfectly inconspicuously by Tukad foot, it was very shocking to me to see cuz I thought something else would cause the fall.
But they had a really clear angle on it, I'd be surprised of Jewett didn't have Spike marks on his right knee.
That cost is right foot to hit the ground faster than they expected and he lost control of his body which took him down and then Amos.

I meant Lane 8.
Samba looks in great shape. If he runs cleanly over the barriers in the final he can definitely go below Kevin Young's old WR.
This high jump competition is fantastic.
Personally I thought Jewitt fell over his own feet after chopping his stride slightly

I don't know. They looked like they were racing, War and Rye visibly coasted in. All should be top four.
