Perfect tactical race from Murphy.
Perfect tactical race from Murphy.
Peter Bol of Australia wins 2nd heat big shout out to coach Justin Rinaldi!!!!!
Arop devastated - same mistake in the diamond league trying to run from gun to ribbon like Rudisha - and Murphy with a very smart last 100m to qualify

Yeah, he's so good but feels like he gives a lot away by always doing all the work
I like the Korean hj dude
Arop,Saruni, Lopez all go home devastated.
Murphy's kick comes just in time. Race was strung out immediately and it looked like he may have waited too long, kept moving outside like he was going to pass and then not moving. But taking the inside was smart and that final 50m kick just couldn't be matched, looking good for the final if he can replicate that
IMpossible not to feel for Arop. Rarely has one died as badly on the last 50ms...
Dobek, Dol, Murpy have looked best thus far IMO. In that order.
Am I the only one who thought Murphy's gait looked a bit uneven? I also note he had some tape on his left hamstring.
Hoppel version 2021 just doesn’t have the last 150 we know him for.
Murphy was an absolute pro in his heat.
Is somebody going to all me sexist if I say that Tim Hutchings needs to have the mic over Alysia Montano

If he runs like this in the final he's not even going to medal; that seemed a little sketchy to me. I hope you're right and I'm wrong.
J Harrison not having a clean meet but just cleared 2.33 - his knee is all taped, any chance he's battling through injury and wonder about his chances at long jump now
Harrison hanging in there in the HJ, may not medal but he has a chance.
STACKED heat coming up. Hope to see something good from Amos. Rotich looks to be back, but 1:43 in the heats has to sting, right?
Big-talking Saruni run out. Not surprised. Such a shame Elias Ngeny didn’t position himself well at the scrum that was the Kenyan trials.
I don't know.. wrote:

Yeah he had to have felt nervous at 200m to go. If he’s more aggressive earlier in the second lap, he won’t need to make such risky decisions in the final stretch.
That being said, I love to watch him race.
It'd be fun if Jewett somehow made it.
Can't wait for Jewett to run a 23s first 200m
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
