First, OP, I think the word you were looking for is charade, not facade. They kind of sound the same if you say the former in a pretentious way though, I guess.
Second, help me out with the SFH initialism. Who are we talking about?

Some of you haven’t seen her in a while

Used the word facade correctly the first time though charade could work too.
SFH - Suzy Favor Hamilton
Not at all if you actually follow the sport... she has excelled at every level of the game.
Hasay seems pleasant. OP does not.
And NIKE is probably better positioned to determine the best use of their sponsorship funds than OP.
Not much else to say.
Does she have a single world medal? She seems like a nice girl and it's nice she salvaged her failure of a pro career with a good marathon but she was supposed to be the female Rupp. She fizzled out with that one

Some say yes, some say no. Not that there's anything wrong with what you find alluring.

It is not about being pleasant. It is about results if you didn't notice.

Olympic results aren't the only ones that matter. Just ask malmo. Especially if you specialize in the marathon where she's made podiums, if you didn't notice.
Thanks. Ah, SFH. She would definitely still get it.
Being an Olympian is crap shoot. Olympics are every four years. So many things can screw your chances at the Olympics, injures, sickness, a bad race at trials, COVID-19 or a ton of other things when you’re a marathon runner focused on two races and some secondary build up races. She’s had a decent career and still only 29 years old. She’s still living the dream and Nike has a marketable athlete. Women and high school athletes still have an awesome runner role model. Nike still has awesome athlete in their pool. Eventually she’ll transition to Oiselle and live the dream as professional athlete. She, at 29, still can make an Olympic team as a marathoner!

Except she isnt an Olympian and wont ever be. That's the facade that she and everyone else continues to live.
I dont understand why NIKE is too scared to pull the plug on her. She is a waste of resources and there are many more deserving elites who should be awarded a carefree lifestyle that allows them to focus on training. The only thing she offers is an instagram account.
Cuz she's beautiful and you're ugly.

Why care? I suspect that you don't own a large amount of Nike stock, and the amount the provide to her isn't meaningful to their bottom line anyway.
They are dropping her and Brazier tomorrow.

And so are you Malmo for that stadium fixture comment. You and" gonna say it" need to get back together as a team to badmouth women.

Just out of curiosity, how old are you? I'm asking b/c the way you use facade only developed very recently. Before that, "facade" as the "(false) face a person presented to the word" was used in ways that tracked the original meaning of facade -- the front face of a building. Thus, people talked about a facade as something that somebody put up, maintained or lived behind, not as something that they lived. But, as you say, usage has changed.
FWIW, I agree with those who say it would be more accurate to say Hasay presents the facade of an elite runner, not necessarily an Olympian.
But where's the fun in that?
Unlike Pappas, Hasay isn't an Olympian, a poet, a writer, an actor, a director, an artist, a karate expert, a race car driver, a dog whisperer, a master chef, a supermodel, a singer, a priestess, a porn star, a scientist or a swami.
