Gender is LITERALLY a social construct. There is nothing scientific about it.
While I have you, what’s your opinion on vaccines? It’s science?

Gender and sex are the same thing.
Watching the Burrito girls get trounced in Tokyo is going to be so satisfying.

Three great races.
Jewett was fearless with that pace, and he was rewarded. Super impressed with that guy. And Isaiah Harris ran a great race as well.
Feels bad for Harris. Worlds team next year for sure.
full agreed

Cranny post race interview gave shout out to Shelby H and said we're running for her. Gotta admit that's courageous of her to stick up for her friend at this time. WOW
So we have that, and Purrier f bombing but Richardson is vilified.

Yeah. I DO NOT support Shelby and I'm glad she's banned, but at the same time I can understand that her friends and teammates will feel differently. We're biased toward the people we care about. While I probably disagree with Cranny pretty strongly about most things regarding SH, I can't be mad at her for her take even though I'm sure it rubbed a lot of people the wrong way.
Cranny & Schweizer were swapping lead duties while upping the pace like clockwork. Great teamwork. Would not be surprised if that was a premeditated strategy to get them both in.
Glad to see Cranny win because she was consistently elite in college but literally never got to win anything. People forget she has mile speed.
Elise and Karissa give me mean girl vibes. They used to not be like this.
Rachel was #3 in the race, but is #1 in my heart.
Abbey on standby in case burritos pop or one or both of the BTC chicks opt for the 10.
Anyone make anything of corys post race interview comments? Was it a knock at coogs crew?
Just can't get excited about any Bowerman athletes making the team. Like many of you, I found Cranny's interview off putting. Houlihan has the right to appeal her case to the Swiss courts but, I feel that Jerry and Shalane's words and actions are too crafted and I doubt that Shelby wasn't acting in a vacuum.
It was VERY hot for this race. They all could have run faster in better conditions. Unfortunately the postponement of the Olympics seems to have really hurt Schweizer; she ran 14:26 last July, same time the Olympics would have been held. If she could have laid down a 14:26 in Tokyo instead of in Portland or wherever her time trial race was she could have placed very high. She was the #14 fastest runner of all-time when she ran it and is still #16 on the list.
Brazier losing really will throw a wrench in the prediction contest. Going home devastated is somewhat of an understatement for his performance. If he really is injured he'll get a pass, if not he might not recover from such a loss.
How can you watch post race interviews ??

I don't know what this means but yeah Jewett is the man. Super gutsy opening lap. Seems like a genuinely nice guy too

Cranny doing it for Shelburrito. That took the shine off that win quickly.
Wow, just wow. Openly supporting a banned drug cheat - she has absolutely zero shame.
Drug cheats out, along with their supporters and enablers please!

It is possible that she really believes Shelbo is clean. Idk though. I wouldn't be mad if Abbey ended up taking one of their spots

Yeah, it’s possible that Shelby’s teammate, who is on the same doping program, really believes Shelby is clean.
0/10.
