I just did this and got .258, seems a trained sprinter would be much better.
My guess would be an issue with the blocks.

did four more, averaged ~.237, which I imagine isn't special.

Reaction times matter a lot in the 100.
In the 2017 London World Championships (his final race) Usain Bolt ran the fastest race, but had a slow reaction time which meant he got bronze instead of gold.
You gotta practice those starts!
How much matter exactly? And really they do? Wow that's so cool. I don't think anyone here at letsrun actually knew that reaction times matter.
Wow. Amazing. So what you're saying is that like if someone has a bad reaction time, now follow me on this, if someone has a bad reaction time then like, that person with the bad reaction time will probably be a bit behind? Wow. That's so cool.
I hope he makes the 200 team. I imagine he will, since in the past he has been significantly better at the 200, and now he's 4th best in the 100... So I would think he'd be 1st or 2nd in the 200.

He had the fastest top in speed in the race. But it’s not a top end Olympiad bro, it’s a race to the finish line.

reaction times are over rated. They're measured when runners are going zero speed.
So 1/10 at the blocks is not the same as 1/10th at 60 m.

😂😂😂😂😂😂
Tied for the best ever, with leg speed velocity and vent’s theory that more oxygen in Rieti = faster 100m times
The relativistic 100m...we need a new basic calculator!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂👍
Results link is updated with current reaction times. Baker is actually the one whose time was significantly slow. Lyles exacerbated his slow start with the reaction time.
