I meant did he love God so much and so openly? I feel like he wasn’t like this before.
The US is the only westernized nation with so many wackadoodle church goers and as a result shoot people en masse and hate math and science.
Bednarek is going to be kicking himself for a long time for that bad reaction time off the blocks. That alone cost him a spot.

How many fewer medals would the US win in Tokyo without God? In the interviews about half of the qualifiers believe they wouldn't have made it without him/her/them.
let's be honest here, anyone who is thanking god thinks god is a he.

He'll be on the relay, and he also should make the team in the 200, probably.

The fact that people still believe in god in 2021 is the most mystifying thing in the world to me. It’s as stupid as ghost hunters.
typical 110 IQ take. you have no idea what you're talking about.
not true actually.
no one, not one person on earth, ever, has any idea what they are talking about if it relates to god.

the number of athletes thanking god is absolutely terrifying
What “terrifies” you about athletes being grateful to the one who created them?
Lane reaction times are the same for the last three races, so I wouldn’t trust Bednarek’s reported 0.307 sec. Watching the replay shows a start in line with others in his race.

Bednarek is going to win the 200 and metal
if you can see,
then you see 19.6
As the distance races progress ---- all the leading participants should be mentioned and where they are from or went to college. Too much emphasis on the so-called favorite. The sport grows when all the contenders are recognized. All the Nike uniforms looking the same ---- they could at least post what state each person is from. Elite club routine doesn't teach the viewing audience anything.

Agree with you. There's plenty of time to talk about several athletes and provide info that makes them more familiar to the audience.
I dont see the comments criticizing so many athletes for attributing their success to God as mockery or "atheistic trash." I see it as criticizing athletes not taking personal credit, for not showing healthy egos, and for not sharing their success with their coaches, teammates, and families.
God is not relevant here.

If it's not onStrava it didn't happen.
Interesting she's going touch-screen only. I prefer physical buttons so I don't slip and slide all over the face, but perhaps the sprints don't get you as sweaty so it might not matter.

I like all the God stuff this year. You get a few very passionate people like Brommel and then the rest feel it's OK too.
Then you get Kerley, cross around his neck, saying "I just want to say this was me and my coaching that made this happen today" after Bromell and Baker using their spotlight for God's glory.
Interesting stuff.
