I've seen a few BTC ppl showing support, of course, but has anyone spoken out against her? Maybe too early? You'd think someone who come forward and talk about how important it is to be committed to clean sport, etc, but so far, from what I can tell...silence. I am focusing on North American elites. I find this verrrrry interesting....

Obsa Ali has played the race card. I don't know how much more he expects. She has a 4 year suspension but he wants her to be thrown in jail maybe? He somehow thinks it would be worse if she were black.

Most athletes know that in this sport, Nike monitors everything that is said to find things that cast them in negative light. The threat of blowback from the company that controls track and field is enough to make people think long and hard about speaking out.

That's called projecting. The people who talk the most sh.it are usually, ironically, the most insecure and immoral humans themselves.
Do you have some type of moral testing device that you have used on everyone? You just projected. What does that say about you according to your logic?
The silence of people like Emma Coburn and Kara Goucher is important. They've been outspoken on cleansport and if they believed Shelby they would have stated so already.
Kate Grace was very careful with her wording as she should be and never stated she believed Shelby. My guess is all BTC knew of this 6 months ago when it began and she wisely made her exit quietly.

I remember the hypocrisy of the NOP debacle. Specifically Nick Willis launching onto social media to declare the group the worst collection of people ever to touch the track, then claiming that he said nothing before the bans came down because he was worried about awkward elevator rides at meets and such.
The exact details of her testing numbers and whatnot should be released before people start to speak out. We’ve only heard one side of the story so far and that’s Shelby and her team’s. I’m sure there’s more to this than we’re being told.

New Balance's Simpson isn't going to say a thing. After she got exposed for hypocrisy on the TUE thyroid/Dr. Brown thing (she was just about the original offender), she clammed up.
