If she had this starter she would have been fine.

Sad that I don't have to Google this to see what this athlete even looks like. For some people, the only class some people have is something they go to a few times a week.
Does she hold a trials standard? If so, move on and get ready. Tough way to end the season (collegiate career?) But its time to become part of the elite hurdles group in the world.
Another rule im not hearing much about is the advancement rule. Such as top 5 and next fastest times advance. Then seeing people run faster than place qualifiers but not advancing. At least they didnt false start!!!
What about foot faults in LJ or TJ. I hear Jesse Owen's took off 18 inches behind the board on his world record. Two steps on the lane line DQs are really annoying. Heck, Dan O'Brien should have gotten an extra PV attempt in 92 just based on his good looks and the Reebok $$$ he was helling bring in over Nike leadi g up to Barcelona.
Im sure theres a few more rules that could be eliminated if just enough people complain. Maybe men who want to look pretty competing against women someday? Wait....
Yes She has run 12.52
Rare for someone to change my view so effectively. Great points.

How did she know Pat Henry filed the protest unless her coach told her it was him. Eldrick needs to teach his kids some class.
This website is filled with a bunch of losers. The girl gets a DQ for nothing. Some little man syndrome of a coach keeps her out. She gets pissed. I would’ve walked over kicked him in the crouch. Class! Give me a break.
You are either stupid, stupid, or you might be stupid. There is a clear video that shows a DQ. Or are you just stupid?
yes. having no acumen for the sprints, i greatly appreciate Sprintgeezer's take for all things sprint related.
I agree with every word you wrote. It is refreshing to read posts by people who know what they are talking about that have lived the situation.
It does take "compelling evidence" to overturn a DQ and it appears that was there as they reinstated her, until they didn't.
Again, thanks for your informed input. It is appreciated.
She smashable
I don't know what happened here. Looks like a false start but as others have mentioned there may have been some sound distraction or a subtle move on the left or right that drew her off the line. Regardless she is a great hurdler and champion and there will be other races for her to compete in and win in the near future.
It's amazing the distance fanatics all of sudden cares about sprinters and hurdlers. The majority of you folks in the comments have never ever heard of Chanel Brissett until this thread. You folks don't pay attention to the sprints and hurdles unless an athlete is under a negative light.
Lastly, the OFFICIALS should had stood by their decision to allow Brissett to run the hurdles by herself after the 10k...no matter what the other coaches, athletes and fans thought about it. And for the record...the so called FS is not a legitimate FS. Chanel should be Eugene, Oregon competing in both the 4x100 and hurdles.

Why do trolls keep bumping this thread?
Not a javelin foul
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UKetKcVoyqINot a high jump foul
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eYsyBOn84uMNot a hurdles violation
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VmU6BChuiBsThere were false starts in several other heats besides Brissett's. I was sitting with knowledgable coaches who pointed out that the starter was to blame for saying the word "set " in an unusual way. I did see several athletes practicing by listening to the starter.
Brissett had a teammate at USC named Mikaela Smith, who had one of the all-time great meltdowns in the 2015 California State meet. At the 2018 Western Prelims in Kansas, she clearly false started in the 800, was given another chance, and false started again. Don't think she ever ran competitively after that meet.
Always thought Pat Henry was a bad coach and unethical person, After not wanting Donovan Brazier to go pro and collect his check, Using up Dexin Dixon for 4 years and this is his thank you. I also heard an athlete of his say he supported the Cops after The Kneeling incident. This thread doesn't shock me at all. Didn't he also want to destroy the Penn Relays?

From one man of color to another......This was a lot of drivel filled with generalizations that a person of color and a man of God should be loath to make. Also, I wish I could give you points for being clever and calling her a future litigant. However, I suspect you were just unaware that the word you were looking for was litigator.
Troll? Are you a bit too old to be doing the name calling thing? Are you really that bitter and miserable? The attached videos have absolutely nothing to do with Chanel Brissett. Next!!!

Yes his own athlete took to her personal social media to discredit his coaching as he made her run when she told them she wasnt 100% having missed majority of the outdoor season all because she looked good in practice. This was a athlete who ran sub 52 in the 400m. Any person who cares anout points rather than their athletes can kiss my a$$
There was nothing “questionable” about the call. She clearly false started, obvious DQ.
