Agreed that Stumbo and Garet Grant will both be top 10.

Henry Hinchcliffe. Totally under the radar now but wait till fall.
Could Gustavus upset for a MIAC conference title?

Thanks Mr. Hinchcliffe. Will definitely keep an eye out for you!
How does the new regions affect the miac?

you a clown
Carleton didn't replace the big two, but their recruiting class is good enough to distance them from the rest of the conference. They've had tons of studs on campus this summer too. Watch out for the Ricks magic touch. The future is bright.
Reports coming out of the Quack Shack reveal that the Oles have simply been going to hard this summer to keep up their fitness. The Marlboro Red to long run ratio is completely off. Tough to see anyone who has been in that cursed laundry room/concert venue making much of an impact in the fall.
Word on the streets of Northfield is that the long-lost great-great-nephew of Phil Lundin (Jens Lundin III) is an incoming freshman at Carleton this year. How might this affect the MIAC? Will he be just the prodigy Carleton needs to slam the door on the rest of the MIAC, or is he a cross-town infiltrator looking to overthrow the Ricks Dynasty?

One runner not listed in Carleton's recruiting class but will be attending that will make a MASSIVE impact on the MIAC has got to be Sexo Fender. He is a Nebraska product that will benefit from the jump from 5k to 8k. Sexo is a unit and is farm strong.
Rumour has it anyone who's slept in the quack shack is destined to be all conference. Can anyone confirm?
Alrighty... the first races get rolling here in a few weeks or so. Who are our MIAC favorites? Any dark horses? Discuss...
Top 3 Olaf Carleton and Gustavus
Dark horses
St. John’s
Moorhead
Scholastica
After seeing the freshman class for Macalester, I'm gonna put them in the darkhorse top five group. Definitely the best recruiting class in the conference. If that continues, look for them to emerge as a new threat to Northfield.
What teams have reported? Any time trial results?
The Bethel class has some potential.
MAC and Bethel are both back for sure. Meets starting up later next week should give us a good indication where people are at
Bethel taking the title, but regionals gonna be ugly
Rumor going around is that Scholastica has some deadly weapons on their team ready to take the MIAC by storm. Dewall and Boone are allegedly in the best shape of their life after running 8:35 3k on the track. I heard they both had vo2max tests in the 80s! That skiing background must really be paying off, maybe more runners should try rollerskiing in the summer instead of running worthless 6:00 flat for 10+ miles.
Watch out for Ben Boelter this season. 4th in the UMAC pole vault. I predict a top 5 finish out of him
Would not surprise me in the least if dewall was top 3. Both him and Boone should be too 10
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
