completely predictable that some people were gonna be like this. some people were germaphobes before covid. or had some lighter germaphobic tendencies. of course there were gonna be people who would take longer to go back to the way things were
what reads like a cartoon is the idea that the media created people like this. these people existed before covid hit, before they ever saw the media say or write anything about covid. they were always going to react this way to living through a pandemic.
This is true. Many of these people already had these tendencies. The media and the government gave them "permission" to go all in. They basically made their germaphobic tendencies, phobias and compulsions normal, or more than that, saintly. Suddenly they weren't freaks, they were heroes.

What is it with the fvcking lies on the board this afternoon?
I don’t know how you define “quite ill” but about half the people I’ve known felt ill after the second shot. One of my coworkers is out today after getting the shot and a fever yesterday. I got my second Moderna dose Thursday and woke up Friday morning with chills, fever, profuse sweating. Some people have no symptoms, others are very fatigued (seems common with Pfizer), others like myself basically had flu-like symptoms for a day or two (I think over half of Moderna second dose recipients do), and some very rare cases experience very adverse reactions. Stop spewing nonsense when it’s pretty clear that people commonly feel ill after the vaccine.
You didn't say "feel ill" in your original post. You said "QUITE ill." Words have meanings and "quite" made your statement very different. You also said "most"--which is a majority; and then to try to support your statement, you spoke of "about half," which is NOT "most," and then further qualified that with the small sample of the people *you know*.
Yes, it appears that many people get some kind of reaction after their second shot. I did: My temp went *up* to 98.6F. I wasn't "quite ill": I was a little warmer than usual for few hours. Then I was back to normal the next day.
If you have a link supporting the idea that, in a large sample of those receiving two shots, MOST become QUITE ILL, I will stand corrected, admit my error, apologize for it, and be grateful for the info. Until and unless that happens, my response stands: Your original assertion was a fvcking lie.
I'm just still waiting to figure out how to sync the microchip in my vaccine dose to my Strava account. If Bill Gates is tracking me, shouldn't I be able to count those miles in my weekly total?
I will continue to wear a mask in protest until the deep state tells me how to sync my chip.

Hey, dumb dumb. The vaccines don't guarantee 100% immunity from the virus. I know because I have a friend that was vaccinated in March and is now fighting for her life in the ICU due to the virus. I hope the ventilator fits you when it's your turn.

Karma, please do your work with this one ^^
Mask wearing means no influenza. Influenza also kills.

I mean....you know we know you're lying right....although you never said she was in the ICU because she caught Covid so maybe this is just a really tricky word game.

Not lying. Condition is serious.

Are you mad bro?
It’s about covid and masks, I’m 2 and 0.

Thanks, I appreciate the explanation. For some reason it seemed like a totally random link to a random article from 10 months ago. But you knew it would come in handy some day. Today is that day! Congrats!

As of May 10 there were 1359 hospitalizations of fully vaccinated people (out of 115 million total fully vaccinated). So you happen to know of one of extreme rare cases or you're lying. I hope you're lying but I suppose you might know one of the micro-fraction of .1% that this has happened to.
