I love visiting and exploring big cities. You are a joyless person, 2600 times over...

You are a salty person, with no name.
I’ll seconded Hawaii- at least Oahu- too many people- there are some nice areas but I would never go again
I remember going to Hollywood as a kid. I guess I was expecting something more like Las Vegas.
Stonehenge. It's just a pile of stones.

Oz. Went through hell and high water with these three other twats and this dumb dog named after that band that does the song “Africa” to get there, assured that there I would find a wizard who could hook me up with a friggin’ heart, but it turned out to be a scam-artist with a load of smoke and mirrors and all he gave me was a tacky heart-shaped clock. Haven’t been back since 1939!
LOL. Could it be? Could Bill Eamick have returned ? New LR vulgarity restrictions seem to have significantly tapered the language but this sure sounds like his style.

Stopped in Pisa on my way to Cinque Terra & Genoa last year. So pointless.
Mount Rushmore. We got there and the first thing I said to my wife was, "this is it?"

Las vegas
That's the one place that lives up to the hype IMO.

New York City.
I second this. My wife and I stayed in Times Square for a few days a couple years ago. I've never felt more detached from the natural world.
Mona Lisa.
On the flipside, I expected Washington, D.C. to be a few monuments and a bunch of offices, but was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed it.

I agree with this and I'm a NYer. NY has lost its uniqueness and character, it's just a big overcrowded dirty city. At least it used to have vintage stores, small shops, more ethnic food, different architecture. More than ever if has become filled with big chain boring stores.
Perhaps it's the same way with most big cities. I wasn't impressed with Philly and Boston the latest times I visited.

Western Europe.
Bland, boring, crowded, over priced.
Shenandoah National Park was pretty disappointing. The views weren't even special for Virginia, horrendously overcrowded, and full of rednecks who jack themselves off to how loud their pickup truck is. Go to the Grayson Highlands instead

Yellowstone and Hawaii
I was only in Hawaii (Oahu) for a few days and physically I've never felt better. Can't wait to go ahead.
Went hiking in the backcountry for a few days at Yellowstone and was pleasantly surprised to hardly see any people. Felt like a 'real' outdoor experience...but then did a couple days driving around just seeing the main attractions and it was like a zoo. Definitely a bit disappointing.
I would add the baseball hall of fame in Cooperstown. Went there when I was a kid (really into baseball) and thought it sucked.

The Golden Gate Bridge was pretty cool to walk over, and the terrain of the city was cool, but otherwise it's just a dirty city with lots of problems in plain site.
Vegas would have been fun if I was fat and retarded.
