I actually agree with this. If Japan ends up incapable of hosting, move it to the UK or the US, where everyone who wants a vaccine will already have had one and we have the infrastructure to host giant athletic events with little preparation.
only that you are missing the big point, this is not about infra structure, this is about event operations, with less than three months to the event. Only an individual who lacks the knowledge of Olympics event operations may suggest moving the event at this point. It is not possible. Believe me not even discussed. 0% chances.
