I never said I think she will I just hope that she would.
Also the honor code has nothing to do with values and is absurdly restrictive.

Honor - "adherence to what is right or to a conventional standard of conduct." An honor code is 100% about values "what is right" by definition.
I was taught in the Athing Mu thread that 4:14 is not that good for a collegiate freshman.
Nice catch.
Athing Mu is a world-class 800-meter Runner. So it's no surprise that she can run a fairly fast 1500 m. Especially when she has been running that distance since she was a kid.
The response to that thread was it's just not that surprising or remarkable that someone who's so fast at 800m can run a solid 1500 time. And it was pointed out that almost every world class 800-meter Runner, or at least a lot of them, have 1500 times faster
Katelyn Tuohy is a distance Runner and this is nice progress for her. No one's saying it's such an amazing time but the fact that she is improving is great for her
Also after watching this race it really makes the title of this thread even sillier. Three of the BYU runners nips Katelyn Tuohy as she was fading. And if she didn't try to run with the leaders would have had a good chance to beat at least two of them.
Just watched on YouTube! Surprised no one mention that she tried to win and run with the leaders. It's a nice time considering that she spent a lot of energy out in Lane 2 and got caught in no-man's land there. Anyway just thought formalize this is the best I've seen her run for a few years. Nice progress!

She likes a school that has an honor code. The kids have high morals which makes coaching a joy.
Every college has an honor code! I think it's cool when people live a healthy lifestyle. But I'd rather see them do it because of things that have evidence. Anyway just think it's a problem when people create in groups based on things that have no evidence and put pressure on people to pledge allegiance to things which not only have no evidence but are completely unbelievable, unsubstantiated, and very dubious given the well-documented history
finally watched. i think KT ran a very even paced race, the others just saved a little left. this is probably close to what her capability is unless and until she gets FASTER. Maybe she can be 1-1.5 faster in a more ideal race.
if she is really going to break through her HS times, she is going to need to improve her 800 times into the low 2:00s to 2:05.
